Today Leif officially started his residency at Largo Med. I am now trying to get myself and the twins on a routine.
The last 2 weeks have felt like a vacation. It has been so nice having Leif home. Over the last two weeks we have gone to the beach, parks, library, gardens, turtle farm, temple, shopping, biking, beach, beach, and did I mention the beach. It has been fun watching Micah & Savannah go from being scared of the waves to crawling into them. It has been fun spending the evenings with Leif swimming in our pool and watching movies late into the night. It has been fun taking mini-trip around our peninsula and getting to know the area. It has been fun just being together as a family.

There is this really neat park near our house with fake grass and tons of slides. Micah and Savannah loved playing together sitting on their tuffets.

Leif and I drove to Orlando to visit the temple. We took turns watching the babies outside. It is so nice to have a temple less then 2 hours away. And it was a beautiful temple.

One day we went to the botanical gardens & then a turtle farm in Largo. They have 3 different gardens to go into. My favorite was the Palm Gardens, where they had every type of Palm Tree. I never knew there were so many Palm Trees! We then went to this park with tons of turtles. We bought food to feed them. I must say that feeding turtles is way better then feeding ducks.

Costco in now our favorite store. They not only have the best samples, but they have the best shopping carts! Micah & Savannah loved sitting together up front. If we aren't at Costco one child has to sit in the back which isn't very fun. We also have an AWESOME library with a huge play area for children. In the play area they have a huge kitchen area for the girls. Both the twins liked the shopping carts their size.

Our family loves the beach. I don't need to say anything more.

Micah is pure boy. He loves the water and loves to splash. Now he also loves to be buried in the sand, dig sand, throw sand, & eat sand. He gets so excited when he sees the beach. His arms will start moving and he makes cute nosies. I have a feeling he is going to be my swimmer.

Savannah didn't like the beach at first. She wouldn't touch the sand and preferred to be under the umbrella. After a couple of visits.... she changed. Now she will crawl right into the water and have the waves cover her. She will eat sea-shells, and loves to lay on the sand. I have a feeling she is going to be a beach bum.

At the end of our two weeks this is what we found. Playing at the beach is hard work.... our twins got tired out!!
