MY MICAH

It's a bird... It's a plane... IT's MICAH

I have been loving Leif's rotation this month (September). He goes to work Monday- Friday from 7-5. He doesn't work weekends, doesn't have to stay late, and comes home before dinner. I have been SPOILED!!! I feel like we are a normal family. It is so nice having him home for dinner and here to put the kids to be. Next Monday he starts back with his crazy hours.

To top everything off he took off 2 days and so we had a 4 whole days together. We went to the beach 3 times. We went to the park. We went for a bike ride 2 times. We went to Costco. We went swimming. We went to for a walk. And Leif and I got to go on a date to the temple. After the temple to went to Downtown Disney. I love my family.

Daddy loves his babies

The twins love their daddy. I don't think I have to write anymore. They love Daddy and Daddy loves them.

I have toddlers

Last Thursday I was at the beach with 2 of my girlfriends and their toddlers. When lunch approached the moms got out sippy cups for their toddlers and plates. I pulled out bottles and baby stars. One mom then asked me, "When are you going to start your kids on sippy cups?"
I thought about it and replied, "I probably should now."
She responded with, "Well Savannah is walking... you don't have babies anymore.... you now have toddlers."

So
That same day I went to Walmart and bought the following;
Sippy Cups

Bowls

Plates

Spoons

Forks

Baby Toothbrushes

Baby Toothpaste

Waterwings (only because they were on sale)

Pull-Apart Shape Sorter (that was on sale too)

and

A Beach Mat!!!

Since I am blessed to have both a boy and a girl... I truly understand the difference between boys and girls. My girl does girl things. She likes to read books, play with dolls, put bows in her hair, and cuddle with Mommy. On the other hand my boy like to .....

Pull the clothes off the drying rack

and then fall asleep during dinner

But I sure am glad that I have one of each.

Labor Day

September 5th was a very nice Labor Day. It was my dear sister Lori's birthday, and Leif got off work early due to the Holiday. Our stake had a activity Labor Day morning. The babies and I went together. We ate pancakes, played in the splash park and then swang with our friends. My friend Jefra took these pictures of them swinging. I feel she really captured their little personalities.

This is Cannon pushing Savannah and Micah. He is Jefra little son and plays so good with the twins. He calls them "friends" and crawls around with them.

After the stake activity, the babies took a nap and then Leif then came home early. We then got to spend the rest of our day with the whole family.

We went on a family bike ride. Our bike ride ended up at a county park and so we played with the twin on the playground. They are getting to really love the slides and swings.

After our bike ride we come home and went swimming. It is so nice to have a pool in our backyard.

We then had a really nice family dinner... tacos and watermelon!!!

And the day ended with Leif and I watching a movie.

It was a wonderful Labor day. I wish I had my camera, but memories will do just fine.

My baby is walking

My sweet little girl started walking yesterday. And now that is all she wants to do. I love how she can stand up on her own, and how excited she is to walk. Once she learned how to balance herself she got it!! Savannah is such a smart little cookie.
Little Micah isn't too interested in walking on his own yet. But he sure does love his cars, trucks, and anything with wheels. I can stand on his own, so hopfully he will start walking soon.
