Before and After...

Well I never got to put up the 36 week picture, so since I have ONE minute to post I will do that... so here is the 36 week picture (Delivery Day) and one week after.

Man, it is crazy to me to look at pictures of my belly that full! I guess when you are pregnant you don't fully realize how big it was because you slowly got bigger and bigger over a lengthy amount of time. Now looking at it, it is hard for me to grasp!

Okay, off to another feeding!

Let the pictures do the talking...

These are some very special pictures that give a great look into our boys' birthday. Thank you to my sister Jennifer who documented the day for us. She'll take great pictures of you too (for a small fee.... www.jenniferkempphotography.com)

They are here...

Our boys arrived last night. Miller at 10:52 pm, weighing in at 5 lbs. 11 oz. and 19.5" in length. Charlie joined us at 11:33 pm, weighing the same as his brother and just a half inch shorter.

They are absolutely perfect!

Mandy and I will collaborate on a bigger post about the birth and include some pictures soon, but I wanted to get on here and say a couple of things quickly...

First of all... My wife is an absolute champion! Birthing twins has to be one of the most difficult things in the world. Getting one baby out is a difficult task for most women, but my wife was able to do it twice in about an hour and a half! She is special (always has been), and I love and respect her more than anyone in this world for what she accomplished yesterday.

Secondly, I can not tell you guys how amazed I am right now by the love of our great God! He is immeasurably good and gracious. The path that lead us to what occurred yesterday is so unlikely, yet it is marked with countless displays of His faithfulness to us. It feels amazing to look at my boys and just remember the struggle and all the many ways that he drew us to Himself time after time... We have been abundantly loved and cared for through this entire experience, and I can honestly say that even if the outcome wasn't as great as it actually is, we would still be in awe of God's desire for us to trust him... and we would not hesitate to continue doing it. With that said... Praise Him for giving us so much more! Our sons are an incredible gift.

35 weeks!!!

I made it another week... Yesterday was 35 weeks! Now we just want them to come. To be honest this pregnancy has been pretty easy but I am starting to really have a hard time getting around and would love to have them now. Also, my stomach has reached its maximum stretching capacity and has started to split my skin (sorry if that is too much info) a little. I am blessed that it hasn't done this until now but I have to say that it has gotten me a little discouraged. I have had to pray a lot and just ask the Lord to forgive me for getting upset about something that is so superficial. He has been so good to me and I am so blessed and I am glad He is such a forgiving Father. With that said, I can't wait for them to be here. I am off bed rest totally and they have told us that the babes can come anytime! HOPEFULLY that is soon. Well Clay and I are off to his parents for a Labor Day dinner and I will leave you with the 35 week pic...

P.S. I was really wishing I would go into labor on Labor Day... there are still a few hours left...
