Sick to Super Heros

The sick days lasted throughout this whole week too! We have been to the doctor three times in the last week and a half. Charlie was on antibiotics and looking good, when Miller fell victim to the same sickness. We took him in and he a double ear infection. Poor guy. We got him on antibiotics and once again things were looking good... now Charlie is back to the fever. He was fever free for about a week and now for the last three days the only way to keep his fever away is Tylenol. So back to the doctor we will go...

On the brighter side of things... MILLER GOT HIS FIRST TOOTH! So cute. I was such a proud Mom (and so was Dad). We just laughed and cheered with him. He had no clue what was going on but of course he was excited because we were excited. As soon as it pops out a little more I will post a picture.

Lastly, today was the celebration of my two nephew's birthdays! Davis turned 4 and Jack turned 3 (Clay's sister Jaime's boys). These two little fellows are just a year and 4 days apart so they celebrated together with a SUPER HERO party. Jaime did a great job making their party so special... Here are some pics from the day!

Sweet Dreams

I have been trying to organize pictures from the boys earliest days and I ran across this video... This was how they went to bed every night. It really made Clay and me want to cry seeing them so young. I already miss them at this age...

Not much to it but it was a sweet little time...

A Lot To Say...

... And not enough energy to talk about it. I prayed hard that my babies would sleep well because with all the sickness we have had, the nights have been LONG. God answered my prayers. They slept pretty great but I on the other hand did NOT. I tossed and turned all night and now believe I have caught what they had. YUCK.

I want to write even though I do not feel great and am not well rested because I already forget most of my trip to Charleston. I want to try to put up some pictures and get it posted because if I don't now, it will never ever happen.

(By the way my babes have been in a nap for over 3 hours... woo hoo! )

So, Charleston... well... the ride down wasn't smooth sailing :) The boys are now at the age that they don't sleep the entire ride down. They slept basically until Columbia and then there was a lot of screaming. I thought it was because they were hungry but if I would stop and try to feed them they didn't care about the bottle. So I just explained to them that we had about an hour and a half left and amazingly they stopped crying................ nope. That was not what happen. They still cried but eventually wore themselves out for the last little bit.

I was so looking forward to beautiful summer weather (and it was when I got there for about 2 days) but instead it was cold and wet the whole time! I spent about ten days there and it is sad to say that I can't think of too much I did. The things I do remember are my cousin Hannah's bridal portraits, her shower, movies with friend, a night out with girls from high school, the Bridge Run (no, I did not run) and the DENTIST.

I can tell this is getting long and a little boring so I will start posting pics...

Cute lil Mills at the shower...
Hannah Marie, the Bride to Be
 Pop Pop with Eden
 Sweet Eden Grace
 Interrupting Pop Pops quiet time...

Christie Bowman... one of many friends
we saw running the race!
The Kimsey Clan. Clay and his
sisters all ran the Bridge Run!
 So proud of our dad...
Clay had a personal best!

(The boys slept from 9:15 until 1:00... can't get better then that!)

Sick Days...

I want to apologize for not posting much the last couple weeks. We got back from Charleston and the boys have been SICK! And that means one tired momma... As soon as I get some energy back (hopefully tonight), I will make sure I get some pics up!

Back from Charleston...

We are back from Charleston and I have pictures to share but I am having a little trouble downloading so it may be a while on those so...

Here is a pic of the boys (from my phone) that I took yesterday...

Miller and Charlie
(And their shorts are ORANGE seersucker... I just
made these for them and I had a lady ask if they were girls,
and I said no, and then she responded "Oh, I thought they were
boys but the shorts made me think girls" UH.... I was
confused. I know there are hand made so maybe that is why, I
don't know)
