My Buddy John Smoltz

Last night Clay and I traveled down to Macon, Ga to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame to see his Grandad, Cliff Kimsey, get inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. It is a HUGE honor, and at 90 years old, his granddad was so honored to get this special award. He was an amazing athlete in high school and went on to play football at the University of Georgia. At the University of Georgia, Grandaddy Cliff shared a backfield with GSHF inductees Frank Sinkwich and Lamar “Racehorse” Davis and played tailback, fullback, and blocking back during his collegiate career. In 1942 Cliff was the recipient of UGA’s Outstanding Senior Athlete Award. Not only did he play football, but he played baseball for the Bulldogs too! He is now the oldest living football player from the University of Georgia, as well as one of the sweetest men I have ever met. Here is a picture of Grandaddy Cliff...

There were five other recipients of the award last night, one being John Smoltz from the Braves...

Our Family

These pics were taken of us when we were at Clay's parents house for Thanksgiving. Clay's sister was trying to get her Christmas card picture taken and so since we were all together I got her to snap a few of us... With two little boys, it is hard to get one that we are all looking and smiling. That's our life...

Is It Summer?!?

It sure felt like it today... I can't wait for Spring and yesterday was definitely a teaser. It was in the 70's and we got to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. We went to play tennis with our cousins and then went to get ICE CREAM. It was the boys' first time having an ice cream cone and I think they enjoyed it...

Chutter's being a cute little fan.
Drew and Allison came with us to get ice cream!
Miller's first bite was a little cold.
Then he got use to it!

Cute friends.
Charlie and Drew really hit if off. Which is good,
since Drew and Allison are watching the boys for us
this weekend :)
Mills was a happy boy!

Dont Forget About Us!

Just so you don't forget how cute these little guys are since I haven't posted recently about them...

Steamboat!

Some time has gone by since I last posted but I promise we are still here. Two weeks ago today my mom came to pick up the boys to go to Charleston and Clay and I got to go out to Colorado to ski (and snowboard). We met my cousin Hannah and her husband Darin as well as my cousin Harrison, my roommate from college Caitlin, and my cousin Hannah's two friends Ryan and Katie.

Up until then, Steamboat hadn't got much snow, but once we got there, they got the best snow of the season! We had so much fun... Clay LOVES skiing. I was really glad we got to go out there because Clay had been talking about it for a LONG time now. We went three years ago and since then I have been pregnant or had new babies so it wasn't really easy for us to go...

Here are some cell phone pics from our trip... I did use my camera a little while we were there but the lens had a hard time adjusting to the cold and would stay foggy so most of our pics are from the phone!

A Night on the Town

We had a fun night out with the boys. Dinner, mall, and FUN. They played in the play area in the mall (no pics of that) for over an hour, just screaming and laughing! We are really enjoying our time with them at this age. Here are some phone pics from the night...

Morning!

Good morning! One of my roommates is visiting with the boys and me because she has some business to take care of in Atlanta. The boys are in a stage of attachment with me and so when they see a knew person come around, they get a little weary that I am going to leave them. Here was Miller this morning... Don't worry. He straightened up after a little bit...

In his defense, I don't think he was feeling that great. We all have scratchy throats and runny noses. Here is Charlie. a little bit of a different reaction...
