Keeping Up With The Kimseys

Since Christmas was on a Monday this year, we decided not to head to Charleston until Wednesday. The children and I got a head start while Clay finished up things at work and then he joined us on Friday night. We had a packed schedule while we were down. We got to go to the movies, spend time with cousins and friends, have adult dinner and even celebrate New Years Eve with fireworks! We also we blessed to have Jamie in town from LA so that we were all together this year! Here are some pictures from our gift exchange/breakfast with our cousins...

The years are FLYING and each one becomes more and more special. The babies aren't babies anymore and as we reflect on the year before, we realize more and more how precious this time is with them. We LOVE being their parents. We LOVE getting to bless them with good things. We LOVE trying to show them every day, a small, small, small glimpse of the Father's love for them. Our prayer this Christmas season, and every season of their sweet little lives, is that they will come to know the love of our savior in a personal way. That they would bring all the good, bad, and ugly to Him and surrender their lives to the only one who can make them whole and complete and give them eternal life through his son. We are so thankful for the love of our father to give us his son, a baby, to lay down His life for us! Oh what a Savior! Christ is born!
