I have Turned into a Nerd

Anatomy and Physiology KICKS MY BUTT!

So i hate to have to say this but i think that i have officially turned into a full blown nerd! ITS the craziest thing, we actually joked about it at first, Jon would kinda jokingly call me a nerd but now i think its true! You hear my points and let me know what you think.

1. This past week i have spent 10+ hours studying for one class in the library

2. I have been wearing my glasses pretty much all of the time and often go to class in scrubs or sweats.

3. I have my favorite study spot in the library, and in fact was the only person on the study floor this Saturday afternoon

I guess that you could say that this is my second home!

Over the past month a lot has changed in life, i decided to switch my major, something i never thought i would do. I gave up on Nursing and instead am going to be getting a bachelors degree in Laboratory sciences.

But after doing some serious soul searching, lots of research, i have decided that this is the best thing for me. Pulse it has made school so much more fun! i finally am excited about what i am doing! Its kind of a vicious cycle you love school, you study harder, you study harder you get good grades, you get good grades you keep studying to keep the good grade. I guess this is the cycle i am stuck in, i guess that being a nerd is OK if it means I'm going to get to do something that i love for the rest of my life.

Yesterday my little sister turned 19 years old, Talk about unbelievable. To celebrate we went out to dinner at one of her new favorite places to eat in Pocatello Butterburs and then went back to her apartment and enjoyed some ice cream cake. Here are a few of the pictures that we took.

One of Brookes roommates is Gluten Free, so my mom tried to come up with some sort of birthday cake that she could make that her roommate could also enjoy, so here is my mothers very first gluten free anything! It was pretty good. Just very very hard to get out of the pan. hahhaha.

Hit and Run

Oh Poor Jeep

So today i came out of My Anatomy and Physiology Class to see that my car has totally been backed into. Take about a way to ruin my day. Someone in a white car totally backed into my jeep and didn't leave anything, like insurance information. I WAS SO SO SO MAD! Luckily for me my very nice husband calmed me down and assured me that we could fix it without a problem. I know that this is all just a part of life, but it still sucks. Anyways here is one of the places that they hit.

Sunday Dinner

Today we were invited up to Bev and Marshals new house for Sunday dinner it was so a lot of fun, and their house is AMAZING! someday i hope i get to have a house like that one. I love getting together though and seeing everyone, and Bev's kids are so adorable! well here are some of the pictures that we took i hope you enjoy them. I accidentally left home without my camera which hardly every happens so i had to make due with the IPhone.

Lindsey and Abby, they remind me so much of my little sister Brooklyn and myself, they are the same difference in age as Brooke and i are, Lindsey and I have the same name and look like we could be twins, and Abby and Brooke are both blond and supper outgoing! I love getting to see them because it always brings back memories of growing up.

This morning Jon and I woke up to find a special white surprise. Everything looked like it had been covered with a nice layer of powder sugar! I love the Snow! It makes me so happy

My heart is full today

Today I had the opportunity to hear the prophet of my church speak and how my spirit did enjoy hearing the sweet words he and his apostles sopke. Every time I sit and listen to the messages that they speak I constantly feel that I am not doing nearly as well as I should be doing in my personal life. Every time I hear them I find things I could do to improve my life and everytime life gets going again and im back where I was before. So night my friendsI am going to do something to improve. Before my life begins again with the rush of the week, and before I loose the feelings in my heart I am going to sharethem with you. So let this be my own personal record, let this be my own personal testament of what I believe.

"My name is Lindsay Leask, I am a daughter of my heavenly father, who I know and who I love. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is the only true church on the earth today I know that Thomas S Monson is truly a Prophet of god and that the words that he and his apostles speak are true. I know that my heavenly father loves me; I know that he hears and answerers my prayers know the importance of paying a full tithing, and of the bountiful blessings that it can bring into your life. I have a testimony of the importance of the temple; they are a place of comfort, and most importantly they are a place I can go to be near to my heavenly father. I know that families can be joined together threw out all of eternity if they follow our Heavenly fathers plan and strive to go together to the temple. I am so grateful for my gospel in my life, I am so grateful to be sealed to my loving husband for all of eternity. I am so grateful for my loving family, and I am so grateful to be surrounded by so many wonderful Christ like examples. I am grateful to be married to a return missionary, I cannot count the blessings that I receive in my daily life because my husband paid the tithing of his life. I love the gospel, I love my heavenly father and I love my family. this is my simple testimony, but it comes straight from my heart."

I hope that i am able to live my life in such a way that it will serve as an ever lasting testiment of my beliefes. I hope that when i return home to my heavenly father that he will know me as a friend, and that i will be able to hear the words "well done though good and faithful servent."
