Earth Day....WHO KNEW??

Who knew that when we decided today would be a great day to take the kids to the zoo that it would be Earth Day which meant the zoo was PACKED! The girls and Carter=) still had a great time....it just kept us moms on our toes keeping up with the kiddos in the midst of the crowds. As always they had a great time together and wore themselves out!! Afternoon siestas taking place as I type!=)

Art Show....

Proudly showing Ella Grace a piece of her artwork!

Today Olivia had an Art Show at her preschool. Rush, Ella Grace, and I got to go and listen to her preschool sing sweet songs and then we were invited back to her classroom to view all her artwork! Olivia was great at all the hand motions during the song, however, I don't think she sang one word! Instead she screamed, "Hey Mommy, Daddy, and Elwa Gwace!!" over and and over again! She was so excited to look out in the audience and see us there!!
She had several pieces of beautiful artwork to show us in her room and boy was she proud of them!! I can't believe her 2 year old MDO year is coming to a close!!! The years are flying.....

Under the Big Top!

We had Olivia's 3 year old birthday party this past weekend! It was a circus themed party at such a fun place called Parties on the Move complete with "Whistler the Clown!" Olivia talked about her party for weeks prior to the big day! So, you can only imagine how excited she was when she woke up Saturday morning to discover it was the big day! She had so many sweet friends there to help her celebrate! They jumped their little hearts out, got fun balloons from the clown, and got their faces painted. It was a fabulous day!! Thank you to all our sweet friends and family who came to help celebrate such a special day!!!

Meeting Pappaw!!

Pappaw came to town last week to see the girls and meet Ella Grace for the first time! Olivia loved spending some time with him and playing his games.=) Pappaw is the only great-grandparent on my side of the family that my girls will get to know! I'm so thankful for every chance they get to spend with their great-grandparents. What a blessing it is to that they can help us shape and influence our children's lives!

School Celebration...

Olivia got to take a special treat to school on Monday to celebrate her birthday. She choose to take doughnuts with sprinkles instead of cookies.=) She was so excited to get to school with her treat and proud to tell her friends she was "tree" years old!! Precious!

She's 3 ALREADY!?!?!?!?!?

How can it be that my sweet baby girl is already 3 years old??!!! I can hardly believe it! What joy she has brought to our lives the past 3 years! We had such a fun day celebrating her life! She started the day out with nothing other than a pink doughnut, of course! It's her favorite!=) We took her to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and to the movies. She has been eager to see How to Tame Your Pet Dragon.....and she loved it! What a fun day it was!!

Sweet Little Artists in the Making....

Our sweet friend Katelyn came to play several days ago while her mommy went to the doctor. Katelyn is going to be a big sister in the fall so she got to experience first-hand what it's like to have a baby in the house when she came to play.=) They watched a movie, played dress-up, cooked up some yummy food in Olivia's kitchen, and painted. I think painting was their favorite part of the play-date......it entertained them for quite awhile!=) We look forward to having more play-dates over the next 6 months while Katelyn's mommy checks up on that sweet, growing baby!=)
