Kayleigh and Trinity's birthday party

It has been awhile since I have updated my blog.  Kayleigh and Trinity had their birthday party back in June and as you can see it was ice skating theme.  We had a blast!  We had about 18 kids and several adults.  I had chocolate fondue with an assortment of fruit and different kinds of marshmallows and rice krispy treats.  I also had a hot chocolate bar where they could put different things in their drink, ie caramels, marshmallows, peppermints, toffee, sprinkles, chocolate shaving, etc.  We started the party off with face painting and glitter tattoos that were of course winter themed.  Then all the kids got their skates on to go ice skating for the next 2 hours.  They also got a free lesson with the instructors.  For those who might not have taken to skating I also of course had some fun crafts waiting for them.  There was an ornament they could make by scratching it off and revealing cool colors.  They also could make a snowflake magnet with jewels and sequins.  I also had cookie decorating that were of course snowflakes.  The favors were mittens, a snowflake oranment with their names on them and homemade chocolate candies (snowflakes and snowballs). They were super yummy.  The cakes I of course made, Kayleigh's the pink one, was to resemble an ice skating dress and was orange cream it was super yummy, tasted like a 50/50 bar and Trinity's was an ice cream cake, chocolate malted crunch with chocolate cake which I also made.  I need to take a picture of the invitation I made, it was really cute too.  Enjoy the pics.
