Today was a wonderful day as we got to visit with 2 of my great friends (for over 15 years!), Cori & Erin. Cori lives in LA now, so we always look forward to spending time with her when we can!

Of course, I am the last of the friends to post pics from Chloe's B-Day on my blog, but here they are! Chloe turns one tomorrow, and we had so much fun this weekend celebrating with her & family & friends! (Chloe is the daughter of our good friends, Brian & Alli).

Jonah & I went to the Allen Splash Park this week with some friends from our playgroup. It was much larger than the one we went to before, and with a lot more kids. Jonah was overwhelmed by the newness of it all at first and was clinging to me so tightly. I decided to check out the baby swings for a while since Jonah had never done that before. Again, at first, he was quite wary and kept his head down. He got into though after awhile and had fun! We then rested a bit in some shade and then took a second try in the water. This time, Jonah LOVED it and had no fear crawling around and sticking his hands and body in the water. He was soaked & had a blast!

Splash Park Fun!

This week has been a big one for Jonah - he has continued to "cruise" on his playpen and furniture and is getting faster and faster. He will also transfer between objects and take a few steps without holding on to anything. He is still a bit wobbly, but he can stand on his own and even walk towards me if his balance is right. He loves pushing walking toys around and gets very upset if the track runs out or he can't turn around and do it again. I can't believe he is already starting the walking process! I am excited, but a little nervous at the same time! I was just getting used to him crawling so fast and keeping up with that new skill. I take so many pictures and video each day because more and more I realize how quickly the time is flying by, and he won't be a baby for much longer.

I decided to once again take some pictures of Jonah playing this morning. As you can see, he was ok with it for awhile. Then, he had ENOUGH! haha

Jonah was playing when he woke up in the morning yesterday, and I caught him looking out the window. It was too cute not to take some pictures.

Dinner Time with Daddy is so FUN! As you can see, Jonah has the best time when Daddy feeds him!

It has been a week since my last post because we have been very busy! We have had a lot fun visiting with family and friends. :) In addition, Jonah & I have been going to 24 Hour Fitness nearly every morning. The folks in the Kids Care love Jonah, and he always takes a long morning nap after playing so hard!

Saturday: Baby Shower for Mommy's friend Maegen. She is due on Jonah's birthday, October 5th, with a baby girl! Jonah is looking forward to having a Californian girlfriend to visit!

Jonah is 9 months old today! This month has been FULL of firsts for Jonah. In just a short span of 4 days, Jonah learned to sit up on his own when on his back or tummy (6/16), learned to crawl (6/18), and learned to successfully pull up on everything he could (6/19). I think he was dreaming about all his new skills, because he would wake up mid-nap sitting up and immediately pull up in his crib. This resulted in a week-long worth of nap strikes! We had a lot of fun this month with family and friends. Although the month ended on a sad note with another ear infection (looks like tubes, here we come), we look forward to this month with more playdates as well as friends & family coming to visit from out of town! This includes his uncles from New York & Paris, and his "aunts" from California!

Happy 4th of July! We wish we were in Austin this weekend celebrating my grandmother's 80th b-day, but Jonah came down with his 4th ear infection yesterday. :( He is not well enough for travel, but he does seem to be feeling a little better. We also missed the Annual Stark's Pool Party, but hope to be there for the next one!
