Yes, the kids got to talk to Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. I love when Santa comes to the church Christmas parties. It saves us from having to fight the crowds at the mall to see him. Our ward Christmas party was good. We had dinner then the primary sang some songs and did the nativity. McKenzie was the shephard girl who got to bring in the manger. She did so good and smiled ear to ear while she was on stage. Cooper and Ashley sang in the children's chior. For school, Cooper also sang with the 3rd & 4th grade classes. They performed at the Senior Center in Enterprise and at the school for their families. Christmas is busy but so much fun!

House Update...
SOLD!!! Yes, we finally sold our house. A nice military family from North Carolina bought it. They have two kids, a girl (5 years) and a boy (almost 4 years). We are going to continue living with Ian's mom at least until summer. That way the kids can finish out the school year. Who knows, maybe we'll stay another year if Janice isn't sick of us by then. Our options are open now, so that's good. We still need to decide if we want to buy or build. We will keep you posted.

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY, ASHLEY! We went to eat at Texas Roadhouse so Ashley could have ribs for dinner. She was embarrassed to have to sit on the saddle. We laughed as we all sang Happy Birthday to her. She was so happy to get a new MP3 player with all her favorite songs. Thanks Aunt Erin! I can't believe Ashley is 7 years old already. She is so cute and totally girl. I really love her little accent.

Boy, does time fly. I know I've been a blog slacker. We've been totally busy but having tons of fun. Grandpa Hunter got all in to the corn maze. We love doing stuff with the cousins. I love that they all get along so well. We also went trick-or-treating with everyone too. They all looked so cute in their costumes.

Our California Road Trip
We had so much fun!!! We stayed in California for a week so you can guess we did tons of stuff. We started our stay with Janice (Ian's mom) and Jason (Ian's brother). First, we got to go to the Yankees game. Go Yankees!!! They played the Angels. We lost but it was still cool to be there. And McKenzie got a little wooden bat that Paxton claimed and hit us with it the whole rest of the time.
We went to Hollywood on Thursday. We walked the Hollywood Walk of Fame, toured the wax museum, and got pictures of the Hollywood sign. Now we can say we've been there, done that, and we don't have to do it again.
Friday we went to Universal Studios. It wasn't as excited as I thought it would be. But it was still neat to do some of the behind the sceens tour and we really liked the Shrek 4-D movie.
On Saturday, we went to Newport Beach, where we met up with most of my family (the Hunter clan). We got a couple of body board and Ian and Cooper got pretty good after a while. McKenzie is our land-lover and played on the beach, while Ashley played tag with the ocean. Paxton loved chasing the birds around on the beach.
Sunday morning we went to breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. The kids got to learn a hula and play island hoppers. Oh and they ate a pancake or two. Ian and Uncle Jason got tons of hot chocolate from our server. Cooper even won a game of tic-tac-toe with Lilo, then she game him a kiss. Paxton stole the show with all the characters. He is soooo cute!
Sunday night was our Mickey Mouse-carade. We all dressed up as our favorite characters, had a fashion show, dinner, and played games. That night we also got our new yellow shirts. We love our yellow shirts! Really, they help with getting us attention and keeping track of our kids while we're at Disneyland.
Monday and Tuesday we went to Disneyland. Thanks again to Shelly and Keith for getting us all there. This time we did really good at all sticking together. We ran on all the rides, did Jedi training, danced with the princesses, and played with our cousins. It was awesome!
Wedsnesday it was travel day. We had tons of fun but it was time to come home. Good bye, California, 'till next time.

Welcome to Enterprise!
We're here... I guess it's offical now, we just gave our "move-in" talks at church Sunday. The kids did a great job and everyone was real impressed. We kinda cheated though because we gave the same talks as our "move-out" talks. Enterprise is fun and we've met a lot of nice people here. The kids have started school and we're pretty much moved in. Now, we're just waiting for Ian to move down. We really miss all of our friends in Roy, though. We can't wait until we can come up to visit. Well, let me take you on a tour of Enterprise.
Ashley had a little dog...
Ashley had a little dog, little dog, little dog,
Ashley had a little dog, that followed her to school.
Yea, Sammy thought that she wanted to see where the kids were off to, I guess. One day I got a call from the school and it was Ashley. She was crying and said that Sammy was at the school. I tried hard not to laugh as I told her that I would be right there to get Sammy. I think Ashley was scared that she'd get in trouble because it was her dog and your not supposed to have dogs at school.

We had so much fun at the Washington County Fair. We participated in almost all of the contests. First was the Ice Cream Eating contest. Maddy was the 1st place winner. She did awesome! McKenzie was the winner of our little family, eating more than Cooper and Ashley.
Next, Cooper did the "Ice Block" contest with his cousin Maddy. They had to see who could sit on the block of ice the longest. After betting out 12 other kids, Cooper, Maddy and another boy were still going strong. An hour into the contest, the judges decided to change it up and have them put their hands on the ice. Still strong after 30 minutes, they changed to putting their ear on the ice. Finally, after 20 more minutes they decided on two 1st places, Cooper and the other boy and Maddy got 2nd. Great Job!
Paxton was so cute in the baby contest. He made the finals with 5 other kids in his age group. Aunt Erin and Grandma got him some little balls to throw to the audiance. But he either got shy or just didn't want to give up the balls, either way he wouldn't throw them. He was still the cutest though.
Ashley and McKenzie, and cousins Katelyn and Brooklyn were in the 4H Fashion and Talent Show. They put together an outfit to wear and got to model it. Then they each did a dance for their talents. Congrats to Ashley she got 3rd place for the talent show. She did her dance to Hairspray's "Good Morning Baltimore". All the girls did great and we were all so proud.
