I had my last day of work at TTUHSC in Lubbock May 16th, we packed up our house (packing= not fun/ hope I never have to do it again), Bill graduated and officially became Dr. Bill McCunniff (and I was one very proud wife!!), lots of family came to Lubbock for the special occasion and fun was had by all, quick trip to Waco for some furniture shopping, a wedding in Beaumont, and memorial day at the ranch, back to Lubbock to close on our house and load the Uhaul (which we almost didn't get at the last minute but that's another story), drove to Waco with the Uhaul slowly but safely to close on our new house (which was delayed a few days but again, that's another story), finally got moved in with new paint and updated master bath just in time to leave for the beach and had a wonderful vacation with Bill's family in Port Aransas, back to Waco to continue unpacking and get settled in our new home, Bill's first day of residency yesterday, and finally my first day on the new job was today!
Did I mention that A LOT has gone on these past several weeks?! Like I said, it was quite the whirlwind of life happenings, but I'm thankful to be settled and beginning this new chapter in our lives. Our parents have been absolutely amazing in helping with packing up everything in Lubbock (thank you Tom and Lori!) and unpacking here in Waco (thank you Mom and Dad!).
Also, since Father's Day was Sunday I want to give a quick shout out to my incredible father and father-in-law. You both have been the most incredible examples to Bill and me throughout our lives, and we could not be more thankful to call you both our fathers and friends. Thank you for your ever constant love, support, prayers, and encouragement at all times. We love you!
Well I think that's about it for now. Hopefully one of these days I will get around to posting more details about graduation weekend, our new home, and our fun trips to Blackberry Farm and Port Aransas. Now here's a glimpse into our lives recently via pictures. :)
