I'm back!!!!

It is hard to believe that I have not written a blog post on here for a whole year. Life gets busy and well some things get dropped along the way but I am back...for now! A lot has changed in a year. Our oldest Maddie is starting 2nd grade and is just as beautiful as she is smart. Our son, Wyatt, will be starting Kindergarten...something he has been ready to do for quite some time. And our sweet baby boy, Doak, is 2 and everything that age means and more! I will work on uploading pics soon!

Doak--15 months

This little guy turned 15 months at the end of July. Doak has really become a "toddler"...from the way he walks, talks, eats, throws fits. He had definitely found his place in our family. He is not quiet about what wants and what he usually wants is what his big brother and sister want. He plays so well with them and they are so patient with him. Doak's favorite things to do are playing with Maddie and Wyatt's toys, playing outside, petting our dog, walking around the house moving our shoes to different rooms, CLIMBING, being chased and tickled, eating mac and cheese, reading books and "helping" in the kitchen. We are in love with this boy and are enjoying every minute and every milestone. Doak's vocab: Momma,Da (for daddy), Ma-ie (for Maddie), Wy-Wy (for Wyatt), Do(dog), ba(ball), Poo(he tells me when he is dirty), bye bye, hi, more, mine, mi(milk), eat, eye, hea(head), ni-ni (going to bed), no, oh, what's that, uh-oh

Drive-in night with Life Group

We decided to have a drive-in night with our life group. The kids had so much fun decorating their cars and eating "drive-in" food while watching Finding Nemo. We are definately doing this when it cools off too!

The Zoo--Part 5

We took the kids to the Dallas Zoo before we headed back home. We love that zoo and had a blast. It was the perfect ending to our trip!

Family Reunion--Part4

We went to my dad's side of the family reunion while we were in Dallas. It was so good to see my family and for the kids to get to see and play with their cousins.

Water Park fun--Part 3

We found a water park that was perfect for our kiddos. It is in Rowlett and they were able to do everything in the park completely independent of us.
