Last night we hosted a birthday party in our back yard for my sweet sister in law, Kristi. We cooked out and enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends and family. Happy Birthday Kristi, we hope your day is as wonderful as you are!

So Maddie did GREAT as the flower girl in Josh and Amy's wedding. We practiced so many times that Maddie was a little annoyed with me before she actually walked down the aisle. She only got a little ansy after standing at the front for about 10 min and then quickly walked to her daddy and sat with him for the rest of the ceremony....not bad for a 3 yr. old!
The wedding was just beautiful and we are so happy for the newly married couple. They are two of the sweetest people and we couldn't be happier for them.

We were invited to a Bridal luncheon Saturday before the wedding. Maddie did so good and behaved like a young lady despite my fears. It was a wonderful lunch and so fun!

Nick's cousin, Josh, is getting married this weekend and he and his fiance, Amy, asked Maddie to be their flower girl. So tonight was the Dress Rehearsal and she did fantastic! I will post pictures tomorrow of the BIG day...stay tuned!

We met up with some good friends tonight at the pool. Webb, Kristi and Carson and then some new pool members The Ellison's (Tate, Abbye, Truett and Liam) Such good company and lots of fun!

This morning Maddie went to her friend Lily's 4th B-day party. It was a Princess Tea Party...right up Maddie's alley!! It was so cute to see all of the little girls in their princess dresses. Maddie had a blast and wanted to spend the rest of the day in her dress...until she had trouble sleeping in it of course and then off it came.

As most of you know, our dog Ali, passed away a few weeks ago. Maddie has been very upset and so the hunt has been on to find a new puppy. We had a nice surprise yesterday when Aunt Kristi said a lady at Curves was giving away a Chi-Wienie. Nick and I went to look at him and fell in love instantly. Maddie has named him "Hunter", and he is just adorable! See for yourself....
