I have an awesome group of friends, they were so thoughtful in throwing Doak a baby shower this past week. Nick and I feel so overwhelmed by the amazing generosity of these girls and our friends and family. It was football themed and they did a great job!

We had a fantastic Valentine's celebration at our house. Here are my top 10 favorite things about today:

1. getting beautiful flowers from my hubby
2. watching Maddie's face light up when she saw her roses from her daddy this morning
3. our "together" gift---we bought new couches this year!
4. surviving 3 valentine's class parties
5. coming home to a cookie bouquet from my parents
6. the kids opening all of their valentine's gifts from their friends
7. our family date night to Mr. Gaitti's
8. reading my sweet little guy his Valentine book before bed
9. going to the Dr. to hear that Doak is doing great!
10. hearing "i love you" before I tucked my babies in bed

Life is SWEET!

We have been waiting for a snow day since around November...the kids were so excited when we told them a lot of snow was headed our way last night. So with temps below 20...we bundled them up for about 10 minutes of playing in the snow. They had a blast and I got some really cute pictures of them!
