We had such a good Easter with our family. After a wonderful church service we went to Nick's sister's house and had lunch and the cousins had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard.

Wyatt turns 3 1/2 years old today. It is always amazing to me how much they have grown in just 6 months and how much my kids are learning and changing. Wyatt is very much "all boy". He is very into super heroes, animals, Bubble Guppies, T-ball, playing games with his sister and being the funniest little character his daddy and I have ever seen. Wyatt continues to surprise us every day with new phrases and new imaginative characters he becomes while playing. He asks the most serious of questions and keeps Nick and I on our toes. Wyatt is truly a blessing to us and to everyone who knows him. We are told all the time what a wonderful little man we have. Nick and I can't wait to see Wyatt as a big brother...we have no doubt he will take very good care of Doak and that they will be the best of friends!

Other than getting ready for Doak around here...we are also gearing up for Wyatt's first season of T-ball. This is something he has been talking about since around January. He has been so excited...we have the ball, the glove, his "special" shoes, the cute little baseball pants and of course a bat (which was his daddy's).
Today was the perfect afternoon to go outside and practice. The wind had finally calmed down and the kids had a blast playing in the backyard.
**They went to a Superhero birthday party this morning...hence the costumes they are wearing while practicing. Wyatt refuses to step out of character when he is in his cape!

We are so excited for Doak's arrival around our house...which could be any day now...crazy! My friend, Rebekah, who made Maddie and Wyatt's bedding, graciously offered to make Doak's bedding as well. I absolutely love it and can't wait for him to be in there.

This past weekend, Nick braved a drive all by himself to Dallas to take the kids to Disney on Ice. I was so hoping my doctor would let me make the trip but with Doak only weeks away from his due date that was impossible. The kids had a blast and Nana did a great job spoiling them. they are still talking about the show and everything they saw.
Nana, Maddie and Sutton (my cousin Ame's daughter was able to go in my place...she turned 2 the day before)
Wyatt was so excited to get a Buzz Lightyear helmet, sword and lazer. Posted by themac's at 4:53 AM 0 comments
