for our 5 year anniversary siua suprised me and took us all to florida to visit my parents before the wildland season started! we had so much fun and i cant believe we have been together for five years, it blows mind mind sometimes to think about all of the things we have done together. i cant wait for our other adventures!

so i decided that previously i was blogging for the wrong reasons, i was blogging so that people could see what we were up to, but i realized that's dumb so i'm now blogging for me to see what we have done in the past....so here comes a bunch of random post until i'm caught up ....its gonna be a bit jumbled for a while ....

siua turned 23 this year (march 27th to be exact) and i cant believe that i get to spend the rest of my life with him. its amazing how even after 5 years of marriage that i still learn new things about him all the time. i love him more every day and even though he is gone all summer it has surprisingly brought us closer together. he is an amazing man, he works so hard for us and is such an amazing husband and father. my children adore him and i couldn't ask for a better husband who was made just for me. he is my one and only....we just had a quiet celebration for his birthday at his request( i think i need to start ignoring these types of requests) and had his favorite cheesecake and lasagna and just relaxed. we just love him to pieces!happy birthday sweetie!

we had a lot of fun for easter. we went to provo cities easter egg hunt. emma was so excited but it ended up being crazy and she was sad she didnt get very many eggs. but we waited in line for over and hour to get her face painted....oh the things we do for our kids .



atlas loves grandma karens!

atlas at his 2 week appointment....the only reason i could get siua to come was because atlas was getting circumcised and he had to do the man stuff to support atlas...ha. i can not believe how little he was....

and andy( siua cousin/brother : ) ) is home from his mission!it was nice to all be there. we were at the end of a big line waiting for other missionaries and andy didn't see us, his face was so sad.kinda funny now but sad then.the first thing emma asked him was to spin her around, its so cute all of the thing that kids remember after a long time. he was more than happy to oblige(wow i just felt like anne of green gables saying that...megan....hehe)


and just some random pictures to preserve memories :) love it.

i have wanted to get pictures taken so badly while i was pregnant but it never worked out but i did make sure that we got some newborn pictures taken of atlas. man i wish i would have gotten some taken for emma.here they are candice at snapdragonphotography.blogspot! took them and she did a great job. it took a while to get him to fall asleep and he hated the fire boots...i mean really hated them. maybe our next baby will like them more who knows....

so here it goes, i finally found time to write this. atlas AND Emma are sleeping and Siua is snowboarding, dogs are good...I'm sitting here with only the sound of the dishwasher and watching Becoming Jane its rather nice : )so here we go i went to my appointment the Wednesday before i was due hoping to be dilated and effaced and ready to go but i was the same. so another appointment was made for Monday the 10th. i even told the receptionist i hope i don't see her at that appointment, but boy did i make it there without any problems! i was sitting in the exam room with no progress he telling me lets get you in tomorrow morning and we'll get you started...oh boy was i ready! i hear him talking and of course they don't have any beds open. i literally went home in tears, thank you hormones. cried for an hour, siua had no idea what to do. after a nap i informed him that we were going to go on a lunch date to our favorite Thai place(if you want to go just call) and left Emma with my mom. i vented, and vented, got over it and got ready to have a baby!

finally we go in on Wednesday the 12th at 5am! we were up at 4 ugh what a terrible hour to be up! but we were there and even on time, around 6:30 we were done with all the boring stuff and ready for an epidural.

all went well and the doctor came in around 8 to break my water, i was ready by 10:30so we waited for the doctor to return at about 11:30 he strolled and i push one and a half times according to siua and out was our little man!

everything went well family and friends were there almost all day and we loved it.

she loves him now and were all adjusting well. sorry that was so long but I've got to try and remember this stuff.we are so blessed to have him here. we have the sweetest little kids in our life.

my mom came out from Florida to help us after atlas was born. we are so grateful that she took two weeks out of her schedule to help us! she was amazing and made us 2 new closets that we desperately needed! she cooked, and cleaned and loved her grand babies! and she helped me sew a ton of baby stuff with my new sewing machine(yeah Christmas money from her) and she gave me some tips! love you mom thanks!

so this post is mainly for me but here are all of the maternity pictures that i have before atlas was born i guess i never realized that i didn't start taking pictures till i was 7 months along...oh well its better that the 2 i took with Emma! and i really liked taking them close together...gotta get better at that too : )
