February was a rather uneventful month for us. We got over all of our sickies for the most part… thank goodness. Aside from a few sniffles here and there, we did pretty well. It was a gloomy month weather wise, as always. So we spent a lot of time inside. I decided that the best way to go about this month was to go through my pictures. So, here goes…
February 3rd, was Bailey’s first official day in Nursery (although I cheated and she went a few times in January). That same day our favorite football team was playing in the Super Bowl. GO NINERS! Despite their loss, we still had fun watching. Bailey was rockin’ her game face!
A little more about our 18-month old little bug. She is a spitball of fire. It amazes me some days that we have made it to bedtime without one of us losing a limb. But, we wouldn’t trade her for the world. She is starting to talk so much. Her favorite words right now are Hi, Bye Bye, Down, Nack (snack), Mommy, Dada, Bubba, and Uh-Oh. My favorite thing is when she giggles because she thinks she is being funny. She loves to play with Tucker. They have the cutest “zerber” fights. We love it. Our favorite thing is when she is ready to go to sleep. Whether it is for a nap or for bedtime, she will get her blankie and wait at the side of the crib. When she is ready to go down, she goes down so easily. However, if she isn’t ready yet… a fight will be had. She loves nursery. I am sure it doesn’t hurt that David is in there with her. She loves to play in the backyard, and anytime someone leaves to go anywhere, she is highly offended if she doesn’t get to go to. All in all, our little bug is the most perfect, outgoing, rambunctious, fearless, loving, smiley, snuggly and amazing little girl! :

Because there was cold and rainy weather, we spend a lot of time inside “cheesin” it up! Tucker loves it when I take pictures of him eating. My kids are kind of cray cray like that.

We had friends over one afternoon to make some Valentines! The kids had fun gluing, cuting and coloring!

David practiced his skills of braiding on Bailey’s pony.

Tucker started a new routine of climbing in Bailey’s crib with her in the morning when she wakes up. They both have so much fun giggling and playing. I love to just sit and watch them in the monitor.

I had the crack-head idea of thinking it would be a good idea to let the kids help cut sugar cookies out… BAD IDEA! Way too messy!

For Valentines Day David came home for lunch and brought me these pretty flowers and a balloon for each of the kids. Tucker’s response to the balloon… I wanted one with a string. HA HA HA Bailey thought they were both the greatest thing EVER! We celebrated Valentines Day at home with the kids. We had a delicious spaghetti dinner.
I might make it a tradition. But, we also celebrated on our own the next night. David took me to a yummy Chinese dinner, and then we went and played games with a fun group of friends.

One Friday we had a BEAUTIFUL sunny day. So, Tucker and I decided to decorate our driveway.

We had a few grumpy days… But made up for it with sillys.

We made some awesome Monster Puppets.

We ended our month at AC Gilbert House, more affectionately known by Tucker as the Bubble House! We love that place. This is the first time that Bailey was able to go and actually play, and she was in HEAVEN! We went with our friends Bradlei and Avery.

But best of all, we had good snuggle days!

All in all, February was a great month. Our family is doing great. David is doing so well at work. He loves his job and the people that he works with. We feel so blessed for him to be in such a good place professionally. He started playing basketball once a week with the other men in our ward, and he is really enjoying that. I (Jenn) am doing well also. The kids keep me busy as ever, and I love every minute of it. I cancelled my gym membership in an effort to save more money. But it is great because it gets the kids and I outside a lot more. We get to go on a lot of walks with friends, which Tucker really enjoys. Tucker and Bailey, will forever be perfect in my eyes. Our family is great, and we are excited for what March brings.
