Here We Are!

So I tried out this whole blogger thing a few months back when my sister decided she was going to get one. It lasted about a day and I already gave up. We recently had a Morphy/Glenn/Marquardt family trip to Pinecrest, and Amanda was ranting and raving so I thought I would give it another shot. And shocking, I already want to give up. However, I am not about to let this Blogger defeat me yet again. I will battle this out to the end, and I will conquer. I promise I will.

It's one of those daunting tasks that you always dred to have to do but are so happy by the end that you did. Lets just hope this one lasts. Ask Baker, and he will be the first to tell you that I get board with new found hobbies very easily and quickly. I liked tennis for about two weeks. Bought a racket and enough tennis balls to last a few rallies, and haven't hit the court since Pinecrest 05'. That was about a year ago. Then there was swimming, broke out the old high school speedo suit. You know the ones with absolutely no support and the back looks like a sports bra. Bought a new swim cap and goggles. That phase may have lasted longer, had I not moved from the Beachwalk. Swimming is hard when your new place only has a kiddie pool. I go in sewing phases. I'll sew for a good two three weeks, and then not pull out the machine for a good two or three months. That may change I did just get a new sewing machine which is absolutely amazing. Very enticing. I think my longest lasting phase has been Hot Yoga. I have been going strong since March with the exception of July. We went out of town, and have had so many weddings that there just aren't enough days in my week. I plan on getting back into the swing of it. I can hear Baker now "I've heard that before"! But for all of the phases that have come and gone I am going to try my best with this one. Just to at least keep in touch, and keep family updated.

I keep on wondering what in the world I will be able to write about all the time, or shall I say WE will be able to write about all the time. Everyone I know on here has plenty to share. Rebecca has got the two most precious girls to brag and showcase about. Amanda and Jordan are either out helping the less fortunate, hanging out in Calgary, or giving us the day by day of ther first Morphy grandbaby. Can you believe that? You guys have no idea how excited Baker is about the first (what he likes to call REAL aka blood) neice or nephew. We are thrilled for them, and can't wait for mini Jordan or mini Amanda to come. The girls in the ward show off the most adorable babies first teeth, and I am constantly wondering what Baker and I have to bring to the Blogger table. I have a feeling alot of ours will go a little something like this: Baker and I went to work today, we both got home late and had just enough time to hug, sit, tell eachother how much we love eachother, and go to bed just to wake up and repeat. Life may seem boring when you work full time, but surprsingly I am completely content and happy with what we have going right now. I wouldn't change a single thing. Now the only Baker would change, is we would own rather then rent. We'll get there.

So I may not have much to say now, but we do have a few fun things to look forward to in the next couple of months. I am sure you guys can't wait to hear about our:

Trip to FLorida for Anthony/Munns Wedding
ASU football Season GO Mikey #77
Las Vegas Harber/Moody Wedding
The last and final Box Family Trip to the boat
A New York Thanksgiving

So I guess this completes the first addition of our spot. Are any of you really reading this? If so, we love you. Nothing means more to us then family and friends, and we are looking forward to staying in touch and seeing you soon.

Wait! I thought we had nothing to talk about, but I have just remembered some good news! I got my raise! It's like they say, it never hurts to ask.
