She's Growing Up!

I know she isn't really my girl, but she is the closest I have to my own kid at least for now. I was just noticing this weekend how much Macy has grown up. It seriously feels like yesterday that she was born, and here she is already in primary, writing her letters, spelling words, and talking and carrying on conversations with adults. Things we are actually interested in too.

She is such a doll. She makes me really excited to have my own little percious girl. Baker and I really can't even wait to have her. We really have been so blessed. I think I was made to be a mommy, and Baker is going to be the best dad. I can just tell by the way he treats and deals with my sisters little munchkins. So sweet!

Lucky Us!

So Baker and I have come to the realization that we have lucked out big time living near all the people that we do. We have come to be good friends with a ton of people I don't think that we would have had we not lived where we do. And though Baker isn't too thrilled on the fact that we live in an apartment, and we don't own a home yet, we still have it made over here.

Baker has the chance to go to a lot of sporting events from the generosity of our neighbors and their companies, and its like sporting with kings. Baker hasn't sat more then 10 rows back at the last 5 Laker or Clippers games that he has gone to, and we even were invited to sit first row directly behind the clippers bench. I was lucky enough to be invited to that one.

So we just wanted to say thanks to our friends that spoil us the way that they do! We owe you all big time.

This is how close we were to the bench!

PS.. We did sit more then 10 rows back once.. but it was because we were sitting in a suite! Baker is so lucky.

It's A?!?!?!

So I celebrated a big birthday yesterday, and because of that I decided to have an Ultrasound to find out what we are having......... IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!

We are so thrilled and feel so blessed. You should have seen Baker when the nurse told us. It was the cutest!

I'm only 16 weeks but am already shower like a 6 to 7 monther. My sister can't even believe it, and neither can my jeans!

I'm Baaaack!

So here we are. Back and ready to spill it. I know it has been way too long since I have posted anything, so in order not to bore you all I will just do a quick timeline of what we have all missed. After we saw Mike and Cam in Arizona, The Morphy Girls threw a fantastic shower for Mandy moo who was having the first little Morphy Grandchild. We had so much fun doing everything in pink, and I sewed my first quilt for the baby!

I also found out I was going to be having a baby of my own! We couldn't be happier!

Then Baker and I took a little trip out to Austin Texas. We wanted to take in the city, and Baker met with some of the guys from his work that are in the Austin office. The Capitol building was gorgeous, and we loved the city! It probably helped that we found the home of our dreams, and tumbled accross a restaurant by the makers of our favorite flank steak marinade STUBBS!

After Austin we made our debut on the Family Feud! It was the time of our lives, and we walked away with a pretty penny in our pocket. You'll all have to tune in on February 22nd to see us is action!
We then celebrated our 2nd Christmas as a married couple with Baker's family in Utah so we could all see our little Lilly Thia right after she was born. Amanda and Jordan had the sweetest baby girl. She has the sweetest little bows in her hair everytime we see her! It was great to have a white Christmas!
