And Wii makes 4!

Neither Baker or I are gamers... or so we thought. That was until we bought this little beauty. Fun times have been had by the Morphs on their new Nintendo Wii, and I will admit that Baker kicks my trash regularly at Tennis. Little does he know I am going to practice while the babe is sleeping and he is away at work. I say Tennis Schmennis. At least we tied on his golf choice.

If you don't have this machine, you have got to get one. It's not your brothers video game.

No Smiles, lots of talking, and a few big kicks!

Can you believe this little Nugget? She is getting so stinking big, and she may pull out all her hair by the end of the month. I don't think she likes the fact that she still has the 40 year old receding hair line. She is a bit camera shy when it comes to showing off her gums, but often is intrigued when the camera is in her face. I am sure I will have her performing in no time. I just love her.

Also might I add how fabulous it is that blogger now lets you upload videos directly to your blog? Not only that, but you are allowed to edit the post while it is doing so. Absolutely fabulous! What will they think of next?

PS.. after it was finished loading it told me there was an error... maybe I don't like it!

PSS.. Sorry if it's a little long

Fun in the Sun

Emmy had her first dip in the pool. As you can see, she really needs some sun on those legs and she didn't enjoy the cold water as much we would have hoped for. Luckily we are going to the heated pool this weekend.. we will see how it goes.

2 Months Already!

Look at her.. she is such a big girl! Emmy turned 2 months today. It's amazing at how fast time flies. It feels like yesterday we were in the hospital eating ice chips and celebrating over cranberry spritzers. She is smiling like it is going out of style and absolutely hates to be indoors. We spend most of our evenings outside on walks and she just had her first experience in the pool with daddy. It was a little cold for her so she didn't last too long. We graduated from our kitchen sink baths to full blown showers. She is in heaven every time she feels that warm water hit her little belly. Mornings are our favorite time of day. She wakes us up with Coo's rather then cries, and the second she sees our faces she gets a smile on hers. She is imitating our "Hi" sounds as well as our "ooh's and aww's". I never thought I could love something or someone this much.

This is her famous pose. She always has her hands in fists with her right one to her face. She cracks me up.

Finally Finished!

So I couldn't decide if I wanted to hand make all of Emmy's announcements or if I wanted to order them. I thought now that I am home I will have more time so I can make them. I went I bought all the goods ( Thinking I would need about 35) then asked Baker for his list.. he gave it back with 46 names on it alone. That wasn't even including my family or friends! Thinking it wouldn't be a huge deal I made them anyway. What a daunting task. 80 announcements later, I finished last week. When all was said and done I am glad I made them. They turned out great and seem worth it entirely. I wish I would have had the time to make them for everyone I know!

Thanks to Evonne for letting me steal her template. This scanned copy really doesn't do it justice.

I Miss These Chicks.

They have only been gone for two weeks and it already feels like two years! I called Rebecca yesterday and asked to talk to Macy and this is what I got "Hi Boopers, Bye Boppers" before I could even say hello!

Will it Work?

Finally Blogger will let me post pictures! Here are some from our last trip to Pinecrest. If you have been reading for the last year you will know that Pincrest is where my sister in law and I decided we would promise to keep in touch through blogging. So here we are a year later and we still got it. Granted we don't get to post as often as we would like now that we both have a little one around, I am still so glad we do. It has been the best way to keep in touch, and I have found tons of my old friends this way too. I love it.. so here is to a year of blogging!

Mere Mere and I at the Cabin.. for once she actually has a picture face on.. she loves to make crazy faces as soon as the camera meets her.
Emmy still was only 5 weeks so wouldn't do much when I wanted to point the lens at her.. but our neice Lilly had no problem being a ham. I love her in this big Giants hat.
All the Morphy ladies.. with the exception of mom and Emmy.. but I am sure mom was in the kitchen. She always is. We had all of her best casseroles this week.
Baker loves Pinecrest!
Me and my little munchkin. I will say I am particularly grateful for Pinecrest for lots of reasons, 1 it brings the whole family together no matter what every year. 2 It's a week of nothing but pure relaxation, and most importantly this year it was the place where Emmy slept through the night for the first time. She was only 5 weeks! I didn't even have to let her cry it out or anything. The first night freaked me out quite a bit, I was awake probably every hour and a half putting my hand in her face to make sure she was breathing. She slept 9 hours! It was fantastic.. the next night she woke up once, and the following night she slept another 9 hour night.. she has been sleeping through the night since then. She is seriously an angel.

Sleeping patterns aside we did have a bit of an episode on the way home. We weren't sure if she was just over her car seat or what, but we had to pull off the road about every two exits from Ventura to LA. She was in hysterics to the point where she would choke herself and stop breathing. It was miserable. We would pull over calm her down or feed her, make sure she was changed and she would be fine. As soon as we hit the freeway again it was all over. It took us an extra two hours to get home. Poor little thing. It's weird to think that next year she is going to be a big girl able to walk. Oh I just love her.

Thanks Morphy's for such a great trip. Can't wait till we are all together again!

You Got Punked!

When I said Sunday, I meant today.. yet another week after the last Sunday that you all thought I would be posting on. First order of business.. Why didn't anyone tell me that I was going to be busier as a stay at home mom then when I worked and only had 3 hours of daylight to get all the things I needed to done? I feel like I can't even get a minute to sit down and post. I am so far behind on keeping up with all my other blogging friends and the ones that I stalk.. yeah that is right, I admit it, I am a blog stalker. I just feel so out of the loop. So I am going to just pick up where I left off.

PINECREST!

Just kidding.. I hate blogger right now. It wont let me post any pictures. Why in the world is it doing this to me now.. the first time I actually have a minute to sit down! Guess you guys are going to have to wait until tomorrow.. hopefully. Cross your fingers.

I'm totally behind..

I know, I know.. it's been too long since I have posted. I promise tomorrow on Sunday when I have Baker home with me, I will be able to post. I've just been busy mourning the loss of my sister to Utah.. I still can't believe she moved.
