The Mulkey Family

Kind of gross....I know, but I just had to post this because, well, kids say the darndest things!!!

I took Jackson to the potty a few nights ago because he said he had to go...of course I thought he was using one of his many stalling tactics to keep from having to go to bed. I sat him on the potty and he actually pooped. He got off, looked in the potty and said "Look mommy, a pretzel!!!" What? I could not help but laugh and want to make sure to remember this quote from J :)

I am sure most of my blog readers know my dearest friend Paige of Paige Walker Photography...she took what I think are the most amazing photos of my precious 2 year old. I feel that she totally captured his little personality and could not be happier with the end result! Thank you Paige for your time and talent...I am so thrilled to have these photos to remember such special time in Jackson's life :)

OMG....I have to say that I just LOVE this costume!! It was a last minute decision...Jackson is very specific about things being on his face/head so it was hard to find a costume for him especially at this age. I got this one from oldnavy.com for only $12.00 and it was a huge hit! We spent Halloween with my parents down in PN this year and it was so much fun! We carved a pumpkin with Nana & Papa and then took Jackson to a Trunk or Treat carnival at the church where my mom used to teach pre-school! He was a bit shy at first but of course warmed up to everyone after he realized they were giving him candy :) Seriously...I just wanted to take a big bite out of my little guy!!

There is a great little pumpkin patch about a mile down the road from our house...we have already made two trips there and I am sure we will be back for more! We went on the first Monday that it was open in the morning and we were the only two people there. The weather was just gorgeous and Jackson loved running around, having the place all to himself!
