You all thought that Tim and I fell off the face of the earth for a few months. We did. Between trying to find a job, moving, and getting in a wreck we've been slightly busy. However, in these stressful months we have been greatly blessed.
After applying at several places I was hired at the Plasma Center. It is extremely difficult to find a job in Rexburg because of all the college students and I know that our prayers were answered. Out of twenty girls that interviewed for the position, only another girl and I were hired. I'm working as a Donor Processor and believe me, it's a great stress reliever to poke people;)
We are also finally settled down in our new apartment after basically being kicked out of two apartments due to managerial mistakes. The move was super quick because we didn't know we were moving until the day before. Although our new apartment is a lot smaller than our last one, it's home and a much less expensive home. Likewise, all the floors were replaced with new carpet and tile before we moved in. Now we don't have to wear socks or slippers 27/7. Also, with the help of Mom, we did a mini renovation of the apartment with a can of paint, some plaster, and some new fixtures. Huge difference! We wouldn't have been able to move as easily without Mom and our apartment wouldn't be nearly as nice without her help either. We're grateful to have her so close to us.
In the midst of all of this, one day Tim was driving home from campus and was t-boned by another driver. The guy who turned into Tim also happened to be driving his roommates car. Needless to say, the encounter was quite heated. It was also a mess trying to get his insurance to pay for our car, which had over two thousand dollars worth of damages, to get fixed. However, the Malibu is feeling better and looks brand new and despite the entire event we were once again blessed that Tim was unharmed.
Life is much quieter now and I plan on boring all ya'll to death with my not-so-dramatic-soon-to-come-blogs.
