Our little guy just turned 4 months old! Time goes too fast with a baby. He is all smiles and laughter these days. He's become a champion sleeper and as long as he gets fed and slept on time he is the most cheerful baby we know. He loves to play silly games with his dad and snuggle with mom when she gets home. He also loves to "visit" in coos and babbles. He really thinks he's communicating something very important so we listen and talk back whenever we can. He's working on learning to roll over and to control his hands enought to grab things. Last night at his midnight feeding he reached up and successfully yanked the binky out of his mouth and lay there with his eyes closed and mouth open, waiting for a bottle to appear! Such a cute boy--we love having him in our family!
Amy

I've been super busy since the beginning of the year. I went back to work after an unexpectedly long maternity leave after the baby was born. So, now I spend my days with 6th graders and rush home at night to be the mommy again. It's hard to do both--last week I arrived at school with a pacifier in my pocket and my lesson plan book left home on the kitchen table! Even though the baby is doing great with his sitter and his daddy, I miss him like crazy and can't wait for the school year to be over so I can be with him full-time. In any spare time, I am frantically trying to work on Patrick's scrapbook, read my book club books, keep up on the housework/laundry/shopping and still get enough sleep to be a nice teacher the next day. I'm busy but happy!
Sean

This semester is Sean's one chance to play Mr Mom! Right now he goes to school all day Tuesday/Thursday and stays home with baby the other three days of the week. Mostly they have a great time together but Sean's finding that a mommy's day can be pretty tough! This is his last semester at BYU so he's working hard to keep his grades up, fill all the graduation requirements, and find a job so I can play mom next year. He is also kept very busy with callings at church, working out at the gym, helping around the house and a rigorous sports viewing schedule!
