Seattle Museum Of Flight

Back in September, we took advantage of the Smithsonian Free Day At The Museum, and selected free tickets to the Museum of Flight. I love this program because it's a free way to see some otherwise VERY expensive museums, and when it's free, I feel fine about leaving whenever the kids have have enough, which is very freeing. For example, this place was very, very cool, and I'm sure Sean and I could have stayed all day, but the kids were pretty over it in about 2.5 hours, so we didn't feel compelled to keep pushing them to get our money's worth and stick it out. Sean would love to go back though sometime and see it ALL BY HIMSELF. (A guy can dream, right? :)) Anyway, some pics of the fun!

Lil Saints Soccer Fall 2013

Fall brought another fabulous season of Lil Saints soccer! This year, I helped coach Patrick's 8-9 year old team, and Kennedy got to play on a 4-5 year old team with our favorite babysitter and friend Danna as her coach! And poor Maren was STILL too young to play, which she considered a huge rip off. :)  First off a little photo shoot....

A little documentation of Maren's evenings at soccer.....

A few shots of Kennedy in action. I didn't see much of her playing this year, since I was on another field but I think she had another great season and I'm always surprised at how athletic MY children can be! She's a good player and very in it to win it!

And a few shots of Patrick in action. A friend took these shots, and I was so grateful because I just kept forgetting the camera this season. I'm blaming a lot of inadequacies on pregnancy this fall! Patrick had a great season as well and really developed as a player.

We love soccer, and we love our little soccer league!

Back to School 2013

Let's get back at it, shall we? Back in September, three kiddos were super excited to go back to school! First up was Patrick's first day of 3rd grade!

By midafternoon, the girls were missing their fearless leader, so we passed the time making cookies for after school.

After we got him off the bus, it was home for a big surprise. A week earlier he had written a fan letter to Studio C, a BYU TV show the kids love. They had written him back and sent an autographed poster!

Just a couple of days later, it was time for Kennedy's first day of Kindergarten! She was super nervous all summer but had a WONDERFUL first day and has had nothing but good days since! She loves kindergarten!

And a couple of days later, it was time for Maren's first day of preschool! She was soooo happy that it was finally her turn and has had a wonderful start at school!

I love watching these two walk into school together every morning. Even on the rougher mornings, they're always super excited when we get to school and off they go! I drive them in the mornings and then they both ride the bus home after school, at the two different times. We're the first stop on the way home so it's a quick ride that direction.

Off to school one rainy morning! My THREE school kiddos! How did we get to this point so quickly!?
