THE NEU SPOT

I didn't have an Easter dress for Kayla, but I found this super cute spring outfit that one of my friends gave me, so I put her in it and had to post it.

I finally feel like life is getting back to "normal"...whatever that means. I guess I just don't feel like an alien anymore, I feel more like myself again and I feel like I'm starting to get a handle on the whole working mom thing...I guess that phrase is pretty ironic considering the fact that all moms are working moms. I love being a mom! I have to admit that is the first time I have said that and really meant it. The adjustment of being responsible for this little person was just plain weird...not bad, not great...just weird and hard to wrap my head around....at first anyway. Then as time has gone by and I've gotten to know our little Kayla, I really feel like her mom now instead of just her caregiver or babysitter or something. Now I feel like I can truly say with confidence "I LOVE being a mom" and I have never loved anything like I love her.
