Ch...Ch...Changes

Kayla catching her first fish at the fish farm in Ogden. She didn't really know what to do, so she just growled at it.

Visiting Jojo at the hospital in Denver

 Victim of the trampoline static

On the swing in front of aunt Tyresha's, she was so sweet and invited us all up for dinner one night while we were in Denver.

Kayla "helping" me pack up our things from the Murray house. She kept pulling things out of the boxes I was packing and playing with them. It was cute....at first:)

Our next little addition is healthy and strong. My midwife does an ultrasound at each appointment. So this is HER head (top of her head she is facing left) at about 14-15 weeks, we got a pretty clear shot of her bum so the doc said unless we have a VERY shy boy she's pretty sure it's a girl and we are super excited. She is due to come at the end of March around the 26th.

OK - so I included captions on a few of the pics from the last few months but a lot has happened so I feel inclined to elaborate. For starters, we're expecting and we found out we were expecting about a month before we found out that we had to be out of our house in 4 days ( long story, not for the blog), so we up and moved from Murray into my mom's house (temporarily) up in Pleasant View ( North Ogden) into the house I grew up in while Tim is looking for a job.

About as soon as we got our stuff moved into my mom's we went over and helped Jess and Ryan in Denver with the kids while Jojo (my niece that had brain surgery) was in the hospital (she is doing great and coming home tomorrow YAY! ) and we had an absolute blast with the Jones' over in Denver, we already miss them a lot. Tim has been back and forth a lot to his brothers house in Bountiful helping him finish his basement since right now he has some free time and that has kept him pretty busy which is really great for him, and then last night we just got called to be teachers for the biggest primary class in our ward, the 5 year olds :) Which I'm pretty excited for because I substituted that class when we first moved in and the kids are HILARIOUS!

So in a nutshell that is what has been going on with us, it's been a very hectic couple of months but I feel like the excitement will start to die down a bit and we will be able to settle in.....but who knows what the Lord has in store for us next. Thanks so much to all of our friends and family for the support through these crazy months, I still can't believe we moved our entire house in 4.5 days, we never, ever, ever, ever, could have done it without you guys we are truly blessed.

Finally Updated :)

Holy Crow! I haven't posted in a while so I had to do a serious update! I published 5 new posts, enjoy!!!

Fourth of July

We had a great time over the fourth with Tim's family. We set up tables and chairs out front and had root beer floats and watched the fireworks. We are pretty lucky to have a front row seat to the Murray Park fireworks right from our front yard, it was very fun! KK was terrified at first but then gradually got used to the loud bangs throughout the night and by the end it didn't even phase her, it was great!

Anniversary Celebration at Hotel Park City

Tim surprised me with this awesome little condo/cabin at Hotel Park City for our anniversary, which is the same place we stayed at on our wedding night. We got lucky though because instead of the room we stayed in originally, they had to upgrade us to this sweet condo for the same price :) and P.S. don't worry we are clothed under the robes:). We had so much fun, we went shopping at the outlets and went out to eat for dinner, it was so much fun!! Thanks goes out to Tim's mom and my mom for watching KK for us while we were gone.

Reminiscing

I thought it would be fun to post some old school pics of Tim and I to celebrate our 5th year anniversary, I know most people would post pictures from the last 5 years, but I feel like I've kind of already done that on my blog so I decided to do this instead.
I also wanted to do this because I love looking at pics from our childhood, and remembering the stories behind each of the pics of the past, even though some of the pictures are totally awkward and embarrassing!
Something we have learned in the last 5 years is that it's important to remember where we came from because Tim and I can be like oil and water.  We have found that while we can always be working on our marriage together it's also important to maintain our own identities. I feel like remembering where we came from helps us to do that whether it's good, bad or ugly ;).
