Summer with Pinnacle 2010. Crazy but very fun!
We started out in San Jose, Ca. It was so great living close to my family again!
We took a trip to Santa Cruz with my parents one weekend and we had a lot of fun soaking up the sun by the beach!
Family Party Weekend, good times! Its always so much fun when we can get everyone together in one weekend! love it =)

We were in San Jose for about a month then we moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico. It was great experiencing a new place. It was very hot to the point where you would literally sweat by the time you got to your car from your apartment but other than that it was a beautiful place and Aaron was very successful!
During our time in New Mexico we received some very sad news. Grandpa Maughan had a stroke and was in the hospital. He was not doing well and it was very hard being so far away. Luckily, we were able to talk to him on the phone and say our goodbyes. We were very sad and miss him so much but we know he was ready to see his wife again.
So we went right away to Utah for the funeral. As much as it was a sad time, it was also great to spend time with the family. We were also able to make it to the reunion which was a lot of fun.
First we all went to the Fourth of July Parade
Then we had a little slip n slide fun in the backyard
On our way up to the funeral we stopped by and visited Grandma Burrup. She is so great and always so sweet and supportive. We love spending time with her.
Grandpa Maughan's funeral was truly beautiful! The viewing was hard for me because it reminded me of when my own grandpa passed and it was hard to have to say goodbye to another amazing grandparent in my life. He truly treated me like family and will miss him so much. On the other hand I am so happy for him because I know he missed his sweetheart so much and wanted to be with her again. After the viewing all his children gave touching speeches. We then went to the burial where Grandpa had the full military ceremony, it was my first time seeing one and it was truly beautiful. He had the American flag on his coffin which was then folded and given to kristin the oldest child. Shots were then fired as a salute and the song "taps" was played on the trumpet. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony for a well deserved man.
The Maughan family reunion was next and it was such a blast. We stayed in lava hot springs in a beautiful house on the hill. We had a great time together with the family at the pool, the river, playing games, working on crafts, and enjoying a beautiful program of Grandpa Maughan and the family.
I love this pic, Jack has the cutest smile!
The kids had a blast, it was so fun getting to spend time with all our cute nieces and nephews.
Aaron and Darren had to head back to New Mexico and sell alarms but I decided to stay back with Ashley and the kids and make the trip back to New Mexico with them later. We had a great time together and it was a beautiful trip. We stopped with Cam and Lori and the kids and had a great time with them in Albuquerque.
lake fun!
Our next place to sell that summer was in Fullerton, Ca so we packed and got on the road again but of course we had to stop and see Landon, Jen, and the kids. It was a great weekend, Landon was graduating PA school, Carter had his birthday, and Addi was being blessed. It was so good to see all of them again.
Landon's graduation, so proud of him!
Carter's 4th birthday! He's growing up so fast!
Next was Addi's blessing! She looked so adorable. It was so great being able to be there for all these great events.
Next stop for summer sales was Fullerton, ca then Anaheim, ca. We had a great time in southern California soaking up the sun, spending time with family, seeing David Archuleta at church (that was awesome), and Disneyland.
