Yes we know...

It has been almost 8 months since we last posted anything.  We will just say we've been busy. However, not so busy that we can't introduce to you our new baby girl.
This is our sweet Gloria Wren, she was born July 19th and was 8lbs 4oz.

Elias is one proud big brother, he loves his sister...and is learning how to be soft.

Never To Early

Last week we took Elias to see his first Rock Concert.
I don't think you can be to young to see Neil Young for your fist time.
We drove out to San Francisco to see the 24th annual Bridge Benefit Concert.
We picked papa Rick up at the airport and met some other friends for the show.
The line up this year was amazing as usual.
Elias was a real trooper considering that it rained for both shows.

Here is sneak peak!!!!

Here is Elias at the Show.

Elias and grandpa waving to the crowd.

We even took elias to see the ocean for his first time.
Here we are in Santa Cruz.
Keep on Rockin!

Just the Boys!

Leigh was able to sneak away for 10 days to run a Grand Canyon River Trip, so it has been just Elias and I for the week.  He has been the best boy ever.
We decided to do a little camping.  All of the Newton "men" drove into the High Uinta mountains to do a little back packing.  I packed all of our stuff in my pack and pushed Elias in a jogging stroller.

The Newton "men" ready to start hiking.

Paca Rick and a muddy little boy!

And of course when mom is gone you have to ride your horse around the house naked!

JULY

Sorry it has been so long since we posted. Hopefully you haven't lost faith in us.  I only had 6 days off for the month of June and the first half of July, so there was not much time to post, or much to post about.
But I am now coming to the end of a 19 day break and we have had a blast.
Here is what we have been doing!

Doing a little golfing at Hobble ditch on the 5th of July!

We went to 10,000 feet to do a little July camping!

Elias and Grandpa Ricky hiking.

Blackberry king!  This is only after one blackberry.

Someone likes Dirt!

This is Fine Livin.

We went from cool temps at 10,000 feet, to blazing hot in St George for Grandma Potters 80th Birthday Celebration.

This is Elias on one of Uncle Van's horses "King Henry".
It is just his size. He couldn't get enough.

The only way to stay cool in St. George,  Swimming in Aunt Mabel's pool.

Next we took Elias to do is first river trip.  We did an overnight trip on the green river.
We put in at Nefertiti and took out at Swaseys.
Elias had a blast playing in all of the mud, sand, and water.

Elias and Mom as we go down stream.

Chillin at camp!

Breakfast of champions.  Sandy pancakes and sausage (down on his leg).

Coolest dude on the river!

Helping dad row the boat (not a fan of the life jacket).
