May Fun

We had a crawfish boil at our house one afternoon - and boy Pierce was just obsessed with these cooked crawdaddies. He loved playing with their pinchers, eyes, antennas (getting sick just writing about it) and was chasing mom all over with these gross things. He is all boy! 5/29/09

The water table for Heath's 1st birthday was a huge hit this summer - they played so much with it and so nicely too! Thanks Grandma - it has been a huge lifesaver since we are outside all the time! 5/27/09

Pierce had to get these glasses and they came in a pack of like 5. He had everyone wearing them. He loved them so much he slept in them too. 5/23/09

And for those who have been and have seen the ropes course - Pierce climbed the whole thing twice with who in tow - yes mom - I got a really good work out climbing through it.

Oh Where Oh Where

Have we been...where has the time gone. It has been crazy. Not sure what to even write to catch everyone up. We had Heath's first birthday, a lot of wedding fun with D's friend getting married, J and D's 10 year wedding anniversary, and Pierce's 4th birthday. Now we are about to start school. So I am going to post some pictures, to try to catch us up till now :)

Heath's checkup

I love my little leprechaun! Today we had Heath's 9 month check up (though he is 10 months old). Everything checked out perfect. Nothing too exciting to report. There were no shots this time, just a toe prick to check his iron - and that came back normal. His stats are great too Weight: 22lbs 2oz (50-75 percentile) and Height 31 inches (95 percentile). Heath is only about 10 pounds lighter than his older brother who is almost 3 years older than him - watch out Pierce! Hope everyone is having a great March! Loving this spring-like weather and we are not looking forward to losing an hour this weekend (thought it will be nice to have an hour more of daylight).

Third and final set for February

Another favorite of Heath's now is to watch the dogs out the back window. And there is Pierce who loves to be silly! 2/18/09

Heath is so mobile now - goes anywhere he wants when he wants. He also loves music - anything that makes noise - drums, guitar, keyboard, to banging the metal dog bowls. He is hilarious. 2/18/09

With some of Pierce's money he saved up he decided he wanted to buy this fireman costume. He was so excited to wear it. Unfortunately after wearing it for a short time the buckle part fell apart. So as many of you who know Pierce this was very traumatic. We took it back to the store and they do not have anymore. So we are on the lookout for another fireman costume. 2/14/09

We had a sad moment for both Pierce and James on Valentines. James decided to sell his motorcycle. Here is their last picture enjoying the bike together before the new owner picked it up. New toys and memories to follow. 2/14/09
