I was surprised at how many of my friends have never seen this video. It is a classic. I got thinking about this video when My brother in law Nic started making videos similar to this like "I like to eat Burritos". This one is for you Nic.

Don't you just love to look at old pictures and Videos. I came across this video and laughed and cried at the same time.
1. I forgot how short Aubrey's hair was and didn't help that she was wearing blue Pajamas.
2. She used to always pull out that CHEESY grin when she saw a camera.
3. I can't believe how fast time flies by. That Video was taken a year ago. I just love my little family.

My very talented sister, Emily, took some family pictures for us while were in Utah for Thanksgiving. Click on the picture to see it better. This has been one of my favorite songs the last couple of Christmas's. I new I wanted to post the song so I went to YouTube and found this video. Who ever made it did a cute job. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Today Aubrey got her Cast on. Of course she wanted Pink. She was so excited and did very good. They wouldn't let me keep the X-rays so I took pictures of them. You can see in the one picture, where they marked it with the red line, the 2 breaks. In 2 weeks they will take X-rays again and cut the cast down to just her lower arm.

So obviously I have had some time to lounge around today. So I spent it looking at videos on You Tube. My sister showed this one to me a while ago. I would leave this video for the Adult Ears only.

Saturday afternoon Aubrey and I were headed up to see my sister and her Family up in Rexburg. Aubrey was climbing into the car and fell backwards. I reached out with my foot and kept her from hitting her head on the cement but she caught herself with her arm. I knew by her crying and holding her arm that she probably did something to it. We quickly took her to the Urgent Care and they X-Rayed it. As soon and they put the X-Rays up the nurse said "Do you want me to show you or can you see it". I immediately could see where it was broken. She broke her radius near her wrist. It isn't so out of place that they do not need to straighten it. She gets her Hard cast tomorrow. She is so excited to get her "Pink Band-aid" on. She has been handling it very well and with very little pain. I will post pictures tomorrow when she gets her other cast on. (Sorry about the dirty shirt. Her medicine spilled this morning and I thought I wiped it all. I can't believe my camera picked it up).

 

Today We went on a Rock Hunt outside. We found some fun rocks to turn into some little Rock people. This is as far as my creative talant can go. Aren't I so crafty HA HA HA.

 

 

My younger brother Jake and his wife Emma just had their 2nd little boy this morning. Weighing in at 9lbs and 21 inchs. Big little guy. I think they are going to name him Jack. Congratulations and can't wait to see pictures.

Aubrey wanted to take some pictures of us and my "New Hair" she calls it. I decided for another change. I kind of like it brown. Who knows how long it will last before I am ready for another change.

 

 

 

My husband showed me this video and warned me that I might cry. Of course I did. I am so greatful for my family. I am so glad that this little girl wasn't injured.

I can't believe how fast October went by. We were able to do some fun things to enjoy the halloween season. For FHE we made some Pumpkin masks. Aubrey Loves to have Family Home Evening. She always helps remind us to have it. We also made some Cookies after her nap one day (hence the messy hair). We had a fun time at our ward TRUNK or TREAT. So many creative costumes. Don't know why I have the same expression in every picture. Maybe I was TRYING to look sexy.

 

Every year we go to Jonathan's Parents house and make homemade apple cider with their 100 year old apple press. I have been involved since we were dating. We also carve our pumpkins. This year I didn't do one. I helped make homemade Spud-nuts. (Doughnuts made with mashed potatoes...Yummy). The weather was so nice. It is always so much fun and I am glad that Aubrey is making some great memories.

I was in Utah over the weekend and drove passed this house on my way to my sisters house. At first I didn't realize that is was a house. The ENTIRE yard is covered in something "HALLOWEENISH". It looked like a cemetary. Every window had a ghost or something in it. Where do they store it all. I can't wait to see what it looks like at Christmas time.

 

 

 

 

My sister had her baby on 10-9-08. He is the sweetest/cutest little thing. Looks just like his big brother Tyler. Tyler told his mom, Krista, "Mom, did you know that our baby is here". He is so cute. Just can't get enough kissing those cheeks. They named him Gavin Hansen Gehmlich. Congratulations Krista, can't wait to hold him again tonight.

 

 

Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother. She is such an amazing person. Oh what would I give to have her a little closer. I hope you have a great day and the best dinner ever. Aubrey took this picture of "Grandma" when she was here a couple of weeks ago. WE LOVE YOU.

 

Oh...where do I begin. It has been the longest month, probably in my whole life. Jonathan had his left knee scoped on the 4th of Sept. It had been bothering him every time he would work out, play basketball, or stand for long periods of time (which is all the time since he is a teacher and coach). So he chose to get is scoped. They cleaned up behind his knee cap and also realigned the knee cap. The doctor said his knee was so worn out it looked like an OLD persons knee. It all began when the hospital told us we HAD to be at the hospital at 12:45 to prep for his surgery and the surgery was suppose to start at 2:00. They didn't start on him until 6:00pm. We waited in prep for 5 hours. AAAHHHH. He was out of surgery in less than an hour. Things seemed good till we got home around 9:00. He was in so much pain (Like he had just been tortured) that we went to the emergency room. They gave him a shot of morphine which helped to calm it a little bit. The next 2 days were going OK. He did his exercises as told by the P.T. Around 2:00 in the morning on the 7th we were in the E.R. again. His pain was even worse than the 1st time. They gave a couple of shots of Morphine which only worked for about 10 minutes each. Finally they put a line in his hand to give him the Morphine straight into his vein. They did that until about 8:00 in the morning when the pain finally slowed down. He had developed a Hemotoma (spelling?) After many doctor visits of trying to drain his knee, they finally were able to drain quite a bit of blood out of it today. He is beginning to show a lot of improvement these past couple of days, but still not all better. Thank you all for your help and prayers. I am so greatful for all of the wonderful family and friends that I have in my life. You are all truly the BEST. THANK YOU.

It has been a while since I have posted pictures of Aubs. She got her hair cut yesterday for the first time in a Salon. She did so good and loved it. Thanks Megan. She also went with Jonathan and G-ma Packer to glean potatoes. I had to stay home and work but looks like she enjoyed it. I will try post the pictures that I took in September in a couple of days.

Well, we have finally decided to get a new car. Actually, we didn't really have a choice. Our little "Suzy" (Sidekick, Suzuki) Finally broke down on us. We will miss her terribly. It is a Ford Explorer. I am so excited to have something more reliable. Thanks Dad Hansen for all of your help choosing this car...your the best.

She was 6 lb 15 oz, 18.5 in long. (No Name yet, They are calling her Mayzie).
My Brother-in-law took this picture. It was too late for all of their girls (this is girl #5) to go to the hospital to see the new baby so they Skyped them. I think they need to send this picture to Apple/Mac so they can make it a commercial. You can just see the excitement that they all have seeing their new baby sister for the first time. Love you guys and CONGRATULATIONS.

Congratulations Albrechts. This is my newest niece. I don't have any info yet on how much she weighs or length or name yet. Just a picture. What a cutie.

I can't believe how much Aubrey's hair has grown in just one year. I thought that it never would. It is so fun to do her hair now, I have more options instead of the one piggy on top of her head :)

These pictures are from a couple of weeks ago. My sister, Emily, was up here for her Brother-in-laws wedding. I was able to watch Alivia for part of the day. She is so cute. She and Aubrey had so much fun together. They are almost 4 months apart. Wish we were closer to all of our cousins.
