Happy Thanksgiving

I have a truly blessed life that I am forever grateful for.

I have so much to be thankful for...

Our family. I love my husband with all my heart and I love the life we have created together. He is a wonderful husband; a true friend; and an incredible father. He is the one I want by my side ALWAYS. We have the most amazing daughter who makes my heart melt over and over everyday. Ella is our little angel who lights up my life. The love I have for her is immeasurable...she is pure perfection.

I am thankful for everyone in our family.

My parents are simply THE BEST! They are my inspiration and I would be lost without them. The love and kindness they bring to Vincent, Ella and I is overwhelming. My sister and brother...I love and admire them both so much! The joy and happiness they bring to my life is the reason I want Ella to have a sibling. The three of us will always be there for eachother no matter what, and to have that unconditional support system is quite amazing! My Nani is the biggest sweetheart ever! She loves her family and you can see how proud she is of everyone in her beautiful eyes.

Our friends. I have always been surrounded by the best of friends. I don't know how I have been so fortunate, but the friends in my life have always been truly amazing people that I am honored to call my friends.

To me there is nothing better than having my loving family and friends by my side...and for that I will be forever grateful.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Ella made this turkey at a Thanksgiving playgroup we went to this week.

Ella and I on Thanksgiving. Vincent, Ella and I spent Thanksgiving dinner at our friends Jaimie and Bryan's house. It was a perfect evening...wonderful food, WONDERFUL friends!

On Sunday we attended "breakfast with Santa" at our mall. They had a breakfast buffet and Santa made an appearance to read the kids a Christmas book.

Santa in November

Vincent and I took Ella to see Santa today at the mall. I know it is still quite early for Christmas pictures... but with our baby due soon we wanted to make sure Ella was able to get her picture taken with Santa.

family

We attended a piggies'npaws party last month and had a couple of pieces made with our handprints and footprints. We have been doing this once a year for the past 3 years. This year we made a princess picture out of Ella's footprint for her bedroom and one of the three of our hands for our office.
In less than 3 weeks we will have a tiny little handprint to add to this picture!

miss maggie

Poor little Maggie. She has a wound on her leg that won't heel because she keeps licking it. After our failed attempt of covering it with a shirt, our only option is to put a cone on her head. She doesn't seem to be fond of it as you can see from the picture, but it is working. :)

Ella has been so sweet to Maggie and checks on her throughout the day asking Maggie how her "owie" is.

Nicole's surprise party

Nicole's sister planned a wonderful surprise birthday party for Nicole! Ella and I had a great time and we were so happy to be able to celebrate Nicole's special day with her. Ella had been practicing her "Happy Birthday" song for Nicole all day... and she sang it so sweetly to Nicole when she saw her!

best friends

Ella and Mackenzie are the best of friends and love eachother so much.

Last week Jaimie took Luke to a gymboree mommy & me class while I watched Mackenzie. They spent almost the entire time "cooking" for one another on Ella's play kitchen diner. It was so sweet listening to their conversations about what to prepare for the other and watching how sweet they played together.

They are both AMAZING little girls!

Trick-or-Treat

This year tick-or-treating was so much FUN!!! We first took Ella to the mall and let her practice her trick-or-treating skills...she LOVED it! We met her friends Mackenzie and Keane there. After the mall we let Ella trick-or-treat a little more down our street. I think she has my sweet tooth, because all she wanted to do was get MORE CANDY!

Vincent was spiderman / pirate and I was Princess Leiya - thank you Carol for letting me borrow the costume!
