6 & counting...
Today Vincent & I celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary. I can remember our wedding day like it was yesterday. Everything about it was perfect. I remember walking down the aisle with my dad trying desparately to hold my tears of joy in so my make-up wouldn't get ruined. I looked way too good that day to have a makeup malfunction! ;)
I am definitely a daddy's little girl (and a mommy's little girl), so having my dad by my side walking down the aisle at one of the most important days of my life touched my heart so deeply.
I remember exchanging vows with Vincent and being so extremely nervous that my top lip was so tight it barely moved! ha!! But seriously, I can remember every word I said, and I meant every word.
I remember our first kiss as husband and wife...it was perfect.
I remember walking down Michigan Avenue that evening hand in hand, in my beautiful wedding gown, with a smile from ear to ear...
I felt complete. I had my family who means the world to me, my dear friends and now my husband. I was so happy and couldn't wait to see what the future had for us and for the life we would soon create together...
Now, 6 years later, I am blown away with the life that we have built together. It is far more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Yes, we have our ups and downs. Lots of them...but that's what life is all about. Taking the good with the bad and learning from it and growing from it.
Ella, our beautiful daughter brings me more love, joy and happiness than I know what to do with-she melts my heart over and over. She is my little best friend and means everything to me! Jacob, our boy. Our little ham who I could cover in kisses over and over cuz he is just so darn adorable! Our happy little camper who is so calm and collected...he is up for anything and everything! His love for life and everything around him is so contagious. I love them both more than anything and I will forever be thankful to be their mommy.
Happy 6 year anniversary my love. I love you so much and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us! (Perhaps another baby...or 2?!!!) ;)

Christi's bachelorette weekend
Last weekend I flew to New York for Christi's bachelorette party! What a weekend it was!!! It consisted of...
Above are the tshirts that I made for our wine tour! Not too shabby!
*the best sister in the world-since the day I was born I have looked up to her. She inspires me everyday and I would be incomplete without her. I love her to infinity and beyond!
*11 incredible girls-some old friends and some new...but all equally AMAZING! I had the best time catching up with great friends and also creating new friendships! I cannot wait to see all of you again at Christi's wedding!
*a weekend in Long Island-This is only my 2nd time being away from my kids for over 24 hours. And I couldn't imagine a better reason for that. Long Island was so beautiful and so peaceful.
*staying at a Bed & Breakfast that was truly unique-wow, I have never stayed at a B&B before and boy was I impressed! Donna, the lady who ran the B&B went above and beyond making us feel at home.
*lots of wine-on Saturday we spent the day doing a wine tour at a few local wineries. YUM!
*amazing food
*lots of laughter-I don't think we stopped laughing ALL WEEKEND! Again, the girls were so wonderful to be around...but considering how wonderful my sister is, it comes to no surprise that she would have wonderful friends!!! (and a wonderful sister!) HAHA!
To sum the weekend up...It was PERFECT and much needed!
My sister. My bestfriend.
Our first night out - Whoot Whoot! (minus Christina) :(
Stacy, Tabitha and I. I have known Stacy since 3rd grade (how awesome is that!)-we lived down the street from eachother. We went to school together; went to college together and moved to Los Angeles together. I met Tabitha my freshman year of college. We were on the same floor in our dorm and also were sorority sisters! Go Alpha Gamma Delta! ;)

Aunt Elissa
Last weekend our wonderful Aunt Elissa came to visit us! What a special treat!!! I was out of town at my sisters' bachelorette party for most of her visit (more on that later), but luckily I was able to spend Monday with her before she had to catch her plane.
Ella was so excited to see Elissa that she asked me everyday up until Elissas' arrival, "how much longer until Auntie Elissa gets here??!!!" :)
We love you so much Elissa!!! Thank you for coming to see us-we miss you already!!!

trains
Ella and Jacob love going on trainrides. It could be the cutest thing watching them together sharing a seat. Ella always puts her arm around Jacob to protect him and off they go. They smile, they laugh...I watch Ella lean into his ear and say something, and the next thing I know they are both laughing and smiling ear to ear. Pure joy.
