We took the kids to the Santa Barbara Zoo for the Boo at the Zoo event! I have to say it was an awesome event, and we are looking forward to making it a regular Halloween event for years to come! They closed the zoo down and turned it into a childs halloween dream... there was trick-or-treating, games & prizes, music & dance floor, storytime, mazes, meet & greet with a number of different characters and also animal time, where they brought out small animals/bugs and let everyone touch them. The kids LOVED it and we all had the best time! Jasmine, daddy & Spiderman waiting in line...

Ella was so excited to take this picture. We have been watching the movie Aladdin at home a lot lately, so when they asked her if she wanted to touch the genie lamp, she was more than thrilled! ;)

Ella rocked the dancefloor! ;) She met a little girl who was her age and once they introduced themselves to eachother (character names of course) they had a great time laughing and dancing together.

Friday at school the kids decorated Halloween cupcakes!

Tonight we took the kids to the mall for ice cream. Afterwards we walked the outside patios and let the kids watch the water show. They had a water fountain that changed colors and had spouts of water shooting out of the ground...I looked over at Jacob and found him in this pose in awe by the water.

Monday I took Ella and Jacob to see the movie Dolphin Tale. What a beautiful, sweet movie. We met Carolyn, Jaimie, Mackenzie & Luke there. Ella & Kenz were so adorable together. During the previews they laughed and joked with each other while sharing a popcorn and slushy. I couldn't stop watching them with a smile on my face taking in how adorable they are together and how much they have grown up in the last 4 1/2 years. They were having a total conversation together like 2 grown adults! :) At the end of the movie Ella turned to me and said, "mom, that was a great movie!" :) Jacob loved the movie too; this was the first time he has sat through an entire movie at the theater. My boy is growing up! After the movie we let the kids play for a bit outside by the water fountain.

Back to Lombardi Ranch for more pumpkin fun!

This is our 3rd year taking the kids to Circus Vargas. Ella & Jacob both had such an amazing time that neither of them seemed to notice that it was a steam pit inside the tent! Considering how awesome they think this circus is, I cannot wait to one day take them to Barnum&Bailey circus!

October 13th was Vincent's birthday and Ella really wanted to take Vincent to ChuckECheese to celebrate, so that is exactly what we did.But first Ella baked him a cake.
