Holiday Party
Our friend Megan hosted a holiday party over the weekend. Our kids have all grown up together and even though they all now got to different schools, they all still love being together. It is so sweet watching them all play and have so much fun together. Nothing better than great friendships!!!

Spirit Day
Ella’s school had their 2nd spirit day on Thursday. This theme was Christmas clothes. So we decided to dress Ella as a reindeer.

Weekend fun!
What a weekend... 3 birthday parties and a dance recital! The kids and I went to 2 birthday parties on Saturday. One was a friend of Ella’s from school who had his birthday party at Scooter’s Jungle. Santa even made an appearance there. The second party was at Color Me Mine for one of Ella’s girlfriends whom she has known since she was a baby. Sunday Ella and I had a mommy/daughter date in Fillmore watching some of her girlfriends dance in their dance recital. Afterwards we picked Jacob up and went to their friend Brennan’s birthday party at Scooter’s Jungle. A super fun weekend filled with lots of fun times.

Jacob birthday
Jacob woke up on his birthday to balloons. He was so excited he kept saying “thank you” to us over and over. I love how the little things in life can mean so much. Then Ella couldn’t wait to give him the birthday present she picked out all by herself, Operation. Such a sweet big sister. We then had brunch at one of Jacob’s favorite places, Soup Plantation. Thank you Jaimie, Mackenzie and Luke joining us.

Legacy Christmas Performance
My bright, beautiful amazing girl had her Christmas Performance at school this past weekend. I could never imagine how proud I could be of one person until the day my daughter was born. Ever since that day she has made me more happy; more proud; more honored than I could ever have imagined. She got up on stage with her class and together they sang songs and each had a turn to go up to the microphone for their speaking part. She took my breath away watching her up there.

Happy Boy
Jacob picked out his own birthday gift the other day at Target... Blue Toad! A perfect gift for a Super Mario Brothers lovin’ boy!
my big boy turns 3
Happy 3rd Birthday to my handsome blondie! Where do I even begin. I wish there were words to describe how much I love and adore you. How much I think the world of you. How happy you make my life. How incredible I think you are. How you can melt me with one little smile or one little silly comment. You are amazing and you amaze me daily with how wonderful you are. You have such a kind heart. Such a silly sense of humor. Such admiration for your sister. Such light in your blue eyes. Such a sneaky smile. :) It’s impossible not to fall in love with you. You are such a charmer. This year you LOVE Super Mario Brothers. You love cuddling with momma. You love playing sports with daddy. You love wearing rain boots. You love One Direction. You love singing and dancing all over the house with your sister. You have the cutest chubby cheeks I have ever seen. I love your teeth and how they remind me of silly monster teeth because they haven’t come down all the way because of the paci. (Ella had the same adorable teeth as a baby). You have the most kissable face ever. I could go on and on about how amazing you are and how much meaning you bring to my life. Not a day goes by without me giving thanks for having you as my son. I tell both you and Ella every night how special you both are to me and how you both mean the world to me. I love you with every ounce of my heart. I would do anything for you. Happy 3rd Birthday Jacob! May this year be filled with joy, love and happiness each and every day.

christmas tree
The day after we got back from our Thanksgiving Ella and Vincent put our tree up and decorated it! What a wonderful time of year. I love the holidays for so many reasons. I love being reminded how precious family is and how wonderful it is to have family to celebrate the holidays with. Forever thankful I will be for this beautiful family I have.
Big girl!
I babysat Luke for a couple hours last week and told Ella she was going to help me babysit-she was so excited! She loves Luke and loves playing with him.
Marco Island
Eagles Nest.
Marco Island, Florida.
It feels like home to me.
We have been going to the same place for Thanksgiving for as long as I can remember. Every Thanksgiving we spend 2 weeks in Marco Island with our family. So many memories made. So many amazing moments to treasure forever. And now I get to bring my kids there and create new memories and moments for them to remember forever. Everything about Marco Island feels like home to me. One of the very few places that has such special meaning to me. And now it has even more meaning for me by being able to watch the joy and happiness it brings to my kids. I think Jacob is still a little young to fully enjoy it... but Ella loves every second there and already cannot wait to go back next year. The best part about Marco is you can do a lot or you can do nothing and no matter what you have an amazing time. This year Vincent, the kids and I went together and joined my mom, dad, sister Christi , brother in law David, brother Steve, my Nani and Aunt Sue. This year we mostly hung by the pool or beach enjoying the company of our wonderful family. Every morning Ella would call up to my parents condo and join my mom, dad and sister for breakfast. She looked forward to doing this every single morning. They would make breakfast together and play cards. Then Ella would spend most her day in the pool with Vincent and Jacob would spend his days at the beach. It’s funny because this year Ella loves the pool but wants nothing to do with the beach and Jacob loves the beach and wants nothing to do with the pool. Ella met a few girlfriends who she would swim with as well. Then after dinner Ella and Jacob always looked forward to baking with their princess Christi. They made amazing gluten free desserts for everyone nightly. Both my kids love to be in the kitchen and unfortunately I am not the nest cook, so it was a special treat for them to bake with Christi.
We spent a beautiful Thanksgiving week there celebrating how thankful we are for all the many incredible blessings we have in our life.
