7-Eleven Day!!!!

Today is July 11th, AKA 7/11!!!!!

On one of the hottest days of the summer so far, currently 98 degrees outside, go a treat yourself to a free Slurpee!!

Abby, my Grandpa and I just walked down town to go get ours and it was great!  Although, it was Abby's first time having a slurpee. Therefore, she did spill the Cherry red dye on her shorts, socks and shoes. And on her mouth, arms, hands, legs and somehow it dripped down to her ankle!

But besides the mess Abby enjoyed her Slurpee, which was basically juice by the time we walked back home.

Happy Anniversary!!!

Today is quite a special day for my parents.
The day they both took hand in marriage!!!!!

I am sooooo thankful for the family God has blessed me with!!!
I am most definitely not lucky but blessed that God has a purpose for the 5 or 6 of us (including Molly ;) together.

Even though we don't always know what's going on, we manage to get through it together because God's holding us together in His hands.

Have an amazing day Mom and Dad!!!!!!!!!!
Whoa 18 years together :D

Love,

Happy Fourth of July!!!!!!!

Today's our country's day of celebrating our independence.
The day we declared our freedom.

Well in the Pintarich household we want nothing to do with "independence."
Because that would mean we would have nothing and no one to lean on.

Through our times of need, our suffering, our joy, our love, our journey, we want to trust in God through it all. We want to depend on Him.

We may not know why things happen, but we know that with faith in God, it's for His glory.
We hope that maybe He will help us understand through our journey why we need Him more than any other.

But in regards to our country's independence, we are learning to more greatly appreciate that we can worship our God freely in a country which will allow it. I personally am hoping that we take advantage of this freedom in the coming year. Meaning that we will be more unashamed of our faith no matter where we go in life.

In my little experience from this life God has given me, here's what I've learned----
Last year during my Freshie year at Berean, our theme for the school year was "Unashamed," along with a theme verse from Romans 1:16 which says,

"For I am not ashamed of the
gospel, for it is the power of
God for salvation to
everyone who believes...."

This verse has proven to me that true faith which you show in any and every circumstance, will be worth the fear you may have while showing you are a follower of Christ.
Even at the private Christian high school I go to, there are still times when it hurts to be the one to show Christ's love, but He gave me the dependence upon Him which I needed to know that my life is for the glory of Him. And not for a my own pride.

It can be hard to understand, but try to take a hold of the freedom we have in this country to worship God. And be dependent upon Him.

God bless your fourth!!!!
