Is it already Tuesday?!

Matt - 2 weeks ago Matt ran an AMAZING race for his Cross Country team. He came in 8th out of 180 boys, who ranged from the grade 3rd-5th. He earned a medal, which only the first 30 runners earned, and we went to Fuddruckers afterward with Grandpa. As you can see he has a very big appetite for anything he goes after :)

Me - Last Sunday I jammed my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers on my right hand while I was a guest for a basketball tournament. Up until last Wednesday I've been having my Mom and other friends of mine take notes for me in classes and write out homework. It's been an interesting week :) Oh and last Friday I officially passed for my 2nd Senior Black Belt testing! I'm really excited and so glad that I was able to accomplish everything required. Thank you to everyone who prayed for me! You definitely contributed.
More news to come when we leave for our trip to Disneyland at 1:00 today!

B - Birthday, Boomers, Basketball!!!

For the last few weekends our activity's have started with B.

Boomers -

Get wet.

Dry it out. While beating some guys in the process :)

And hang with some friends.

But while I was at Boomers with my junior high group, Matt, Mom, Dad, and Abigail were chilling with family celebrating our Grandpa's Birthday!!!!!!!!!!

They had fun as you might notice.

Abby liked the one on one time with Grandpa.

But of course we all benefit from Grandpa :) Thanks for all you do! It's all awesome!

Oh and the other B is for Basketball. I don't have any pics, but Matt and I have had tryouts for the Saint Mary's team in Walnut Creek, and we both made a CYO team.

Let's go!!!!!

School can sometimes have a bumpy start at our house. That's why we love going to Grace Bible Church for CHD. Classical Homeschool Day - where we take classes with other homeschoolers, hang with friends, go to P.E. at the park, and much more fun. This year Matt and I are both taking Latin, History, P.E., Writing, and Science.
Matt is also taking Math club and Art.
I am also taking Logic, Art History and I am Vice President of the Student Council at CHD. In Student Council we might think of new fun ways for fund raising, possible field trips, and more things that all the youth can do together outside or inside CHD. Our first fund raiser that has been going on since last years Student Coucil is the all famous Bake Sale! (yes I will be providing our also all famous Oatmeal Fudgies) We will have a bake sale the first week of each month at CHD during lunch time, what we will spend the money on that we earn from the bake sale is not yet decided, but we'll just snack on some goodies while we're thinking about it.
Well enough about that, here are some snapshots from our fist few weeks at CHD :)
Mom 'introduces' Abigail

To people other than Mrs. Lancaster who can't keep her hands off her :)

Be sure to grab some lunch! Eventually

Say Hi to some old and new friends.

I had a fun time in class

Not sure what Matt's thoughts were though. Just Kidding

Like I said by the end of the day it's all good :)

Most of the time . . . . .

gotcha!
