The Pomeroy Family

Today E told me "You are the best mommy in the whole world." It made my day! We were snuggled up in my bed with her head on my chest watching a riveting episode of Word Girl. It was a surprising award since it came a short while after 5 huge fits about nothing. I will keep that sweet memory in my heart always, especially when she is stomping around the house in a few years telling me I'm the worst ;-)

My poor Berkley is sick. She's been napping for 2 hours twice a day for the past couple days. I think its just a cold, maybe she's growing too. Its just so sad.

She likes to twist around the trapeeze bar and twirl really fast. I was working on my sunflare, I thought it turned out pretty cool.Here is how poor B has been spending her days. Its a pic from last month but she's so congested she prefers to nap in her swing. So sweet.

E had her first dance recital at Little Gym yesterday. She did such a great job! It was so cute to see her, we have video too, but I am not savvy enough to get it from our video camera to the computer. They had a ballet routine and a tap routine, then they got to take us in the gym and show us what they can do on the bars and the balance beam. We were so glad that Grammy and Papa could come all the way over to watch her!

My friend Mari came over because she wanted to take some shots of Berkley for her portfolio. I've been wanting to take some of her for a long time, but as a testament to my laziness I had waited until Mari came over to bother with it. It was so nice having someone there to help though. We took turns tickling her with the feather duster. Worked like a charm. I can't believe this little cutie is going to be 8 months old on Monday. We love her to pieces!

The girls and I had nothing going on today so we decided to have a picnic at the park. Elliott loves pretending to have picnics at home so she was very excited. We didn't do much today, but it was just one of those days that makes me love staying home with them. No fits, no bad moods, just playing games, hanging out and having fun.

I can't believe how big my little Berkley is now, she looked so grown up in her jeans and shoes.Elliott does the big swing most of the time, but she likes doing the baby swing so she can go crazy. She looks huge!

Our good friends Donnie and Becca just had their first baby a couple weeks ago. I finally got to go over and meet little Rhett yesterday. He is just the sweetest! So tiny and adorable. I got tons of pictures of him, I think this is one of my favorites, he was so good about curling up and staying asleep. I wish I would have brought baskets and all kinds of stuff to take pics of him.
