Christmas

We have had a busy week. On Wed we had our friends Madilyn and Emily Kate over to play. The girls are the same ages as our girls- Emily Kate and Berkley are only 2 weeks apart!
EK and B both have very strong little personalities- they ignore each other for the most part- but here they are giving kisses to each other
E and M play really well together they decorated some cookies for Santa
Christmas Eve Elliott put out some cookies for Santa and some reindeer food for the reindeer before we headed over to Grammy and Papa's for the evening
We even got some snow! I consider this a Christmas Miracle since we were at the park on Wed afternoon and it was 75 degrees.
Grammy and Papa gave E a hunt with clues to find her gift which was very exciting!
She found her Bitty Baby double stroller in the back of Papa's truck After trying to get pictures of the 4 of us, I realize why there are so few Berkley was crying for over half these!
The girls with Cousin Rylee in their matching Christmas PJ's
The Fam on Christmas morning- another cooperative picture with Berk.
E opening her DS from Santa- she was so happy and it has rarely left her side
B got a dollhouse from Santa a huge treat!
E was our Christmas elf and passed out all our family presents
B felt she needed a hat too Playing with the changing table. It is so cute to see Berk wiping her teddy bears bottom on the table!
The girls got these awesome outfits from Aunt Amanda, Uncle Brad and cousin RyleeWe headed back to my parents house Christmas Day night for dinner with my parents, brother and Rachel, and Chris's sister and the kids. E and I made a Bday cake for Jesus so we decided to sing Happy Birthday - we know the candles aren't accurate but we worked with what we had

B finally showed Aunt Brandy some love
B got this outfit from Grammy and Papa it is so adorable!

The House Finally!

The stars have aligned- my house was clean and I remembered to take pictures. So here they all areThis is when you walk in the front door. The living room/kitchen are straight ahead. Chris's office is on the left and the dining room is halfway down on the right. Chris's office is still a halfway house for lost decorations so not worth seeing yet.The dining roomThis is probably our favorite room. Sorry it is so dark it wasn't a sunny day- I can't wait for ALL the stars to align. The counters are hammered copper. The eating areaThe family room- with E- from aboveOur roomThe master Bath
Elliott's room. I still don't know what I want to do in here, so the walls are empty for now. This is the entry to B's room- it is pretty cool, it has a long hallway with a curved wall because the stairs curve into it on the other side.
Her room is probably the one room in the house that I am done with. Aside from hanging pictures of her up in it.

This hallway is at the top of the stairs and on the left is E's "office" and the right is the empty media room, strait ahead is the playroom.
E's office
The playroom. I am still figuring out exactly what I want to do in here too

The end!

Christmas in Ore City

We went to visit Chris's family this past weekend to celebrate Christmas. We switch off years and this year is Christmas Eve with my family. We had lots of fun visiting with Nanny PawPaw Aunt Brandy and our cousins. Although I'm realizing that I don't have any pictures of our big cousins Brittany and Dakota- hmmm I'll have to catch them when they come visit us this weekend :-)

Here is Berkley with Paw Paw. She kept bringing him the bear to put the clothes on. She also yelled for him from the other room.....to get her juice. They are good buddies! PawPaw and E

E and Nanny. I love this one

E and Madison- Madison came to spend the night with us over there. She even agreed to go to bed an hour earlier than normal to do so. What a sweet cousin!

Berk and Madison. I swear sometimes B looks just like Madison with some of the faces she makes, especially in pigtails.

Berkley passing out gifts

Tearing into their presents. They got lots of fun stuff like dress up, baby dolls, books a rocking chair. Quite a haul! Chris and I thought it would be a great idea to bring the car instead of the suv- rookie mistake.

The girls playing with the Barbie Pet Vet Aunt Brandy got them. Quite the hit!
Cousin Rylee came over last Monday to play while Grammy did some shopping. I think this is the first ever picture with Berkley touching her and not flipping out about it- although she still doesn't seem very happy does she?
The Elf cracked us up one day when he hid in Santa's arms at the top of the tree
The elf also thought that glitter would be a fun gift. I wish the elf had to clean up the glitter after the fun that ensued from that little treat. I suppose it was worth it though and at least I was smart enough to do it in the garage.
Here is Berkley with her picture. I promise she had more fun that it looks like in this picture. E with hers
