Grown Up Time

Chris and I took our trip to San Diego last weekend. My parents kept the girls and we were gone from Th-M. It was such a relaxing trip. Its the first trip we've taken all by ourselves since Elliott was born. Nice to spend that much time together without interruptions! We did miss our little monsters though and they were happy to see us at the airport, E had the idea to bring us flowers. So sweet.

This is at the Baseball game. Right now I can't even remember what the team was called....but I know they were playing St Louis ;-) Chris on the wall at Mission Beach

This past weekend we got to go on a party boat for Rich's 50th Birthday. It was so much fun! Here we are with Bday boy rich, my brother, Rachel, and my mom. Dad is around there somewhere....Oh and that isn't Rich's real hair, its a wig.

Chris and Rich have an intense sports rivalry going on. Chris's fave baseball team is the Braves and Rich's is the Phillies then Chris with the Cowboys vs Rich with the Eagles. There is usually a lot of trash talk between the two of them. We had to get Rich a gift he would love- Braves Monopoly
Chris and some folks hanging out in the water, I won't post the pic of DiAnn yelling at me for Rachel to get in the water, although it does make me laugh.....
Here's me going off the slide. It was a double decker boat- I was like a 4 year old.
After many tries I finally perfected my front flip. In case you didn't know I am very uncoordinated. I did land this correctly though.

My dad was trying to get pics for me to show Elliott, I thought this one was pretty funny
I wish I had a video of my back flip. Or lack there of. My brother did it, I thought I could. I was wrong. I only tried that one once, I did a huge belly flop, and I still have bruises to show for it. They are well worth it though, it was so much fun!

Dress Up time

Elliott introduced B to the land of dress up last night. They had a great time with it, today as soon as we came in the playroom Berkley came over pulling at her dress telling me "off" because she wanted to do it again. She loves that Dora is on her shirt. Here are a few of the dress up personalities we saw last night
E as a rockstarA biker/FairyE tried to kneel down by B for a picture together, Berkley scratched her and pushed her...sound like anyone Amanda??E the ladybugBerkley posing as a sweet Dora Mermaid/Cowgirl. I saw a description the other day someone put of their child as a little devil in sheep clothing I think that is very fitting for Miss Taser. Here she is as a mermaid/eccentric old ladyHow about a little then and now on our little Berkley- October 2008 Now. I wish I had a picture of her coming in to see Chris I told her to go show daddy and roar like a lion. It was so funny!

Elliott Then and Now

We got out the duck costume to try it out on B for Halloween. E of course had to try it on. We told her it wouldn't fit her but she proved us wrong.

RC and Breanna's wedding

Chris's niece Breanna just got married this past weekend. I was asked to take the pictures, I was very nervous about it, but overall I think they turned out pretty well.

My Fishy

This is the little girl that wouldn't get her face wet at the beginning of the summer. The little girl that wouldn't get in water that she couldn't touch. The little girl that needed a tube and floaties to jump off the side of the pool with me catching her. She's come a long way this summer! We went to our friends Scott and Emily's house last night. E had a blast playing with their 2 girls and another little girl that was over. She was the youngest of all of them and had to keep up. Bruce was so cool and swam with the girls and held the pool cleaning pole at the diving board so they could spring up and touch it.
Then the big girls decided it would be more fun to jump over. So E did it too, this was quite the belly flop!
Last weekend we got to go to my friend Laura's moms pool. Notice how beautiful the background is, its right on a little pond.
Here is sweet Berkley checking out the ducks and annoyed that mommy is telling her to turn around.

The Party

Elliott chose to have her party at the gymnastics place. It was such a fun time! I tried to get pictures of everyone, but I know I missed a few kids with all the craziness. All the kids had their own trampoline to jump on at the beginning of the party.

This is E's friend Luke. She loves him so much, he is in our playgroup and they play at the gym together all the time.

This is Elizabeth E plays with her all the time. She cracked me up because she didn't participate in a lot of the group games because the instructors were guys and "she didn't know those men" I love her!
Ben, Elizabeth's little brother. E loves him so much, she always likes to play with him and tell him what to do.This is Drew, part of the famous Drew and Josh duo. This is my friend Jill's little girl Emma. We're looking forward to moving closer to them so we can play more! Some of the kids on the trampolines They played a game, something about cookie monster. He would run out and catch kids. I just loved how Luke has his arm around Emma. So sweet.

Berkley and her buddy Emily Kate. They are 2 weeks apart and enjoy fighting over babies. I love Berkley's naughty face in this one.

I wish I had a video camera on this one. He was asking for a volunteer. It had to be a girl, a pretty girl, in a blue dress, with flowers, with a name that started with an E. Elliott was getting absolutely frantic with her hand raising. She was standing up, saying- me and getting more excited every time he described her. It was priceless. Cracking the eggs on the trampoline
Cousin Madison tried to hide from me in every picture, but I got her running on the trampoline toward the pit. She looks like such a little gymnast!Tarzan Claire, Emma's big sister Paige wasn't too sure about jumping into this block pit from the trampoline
Cassie doing a great drop from the rope
This is E's sweet friend Madilyn. They had a lot going on that day but she told her mom that she just had to be at E's party or she would be so disappointed. She was so glad that Madilyn got to make it!

It was such a fun party and E is so lucky to have so many awesome friends!
