The Pomeroy Family

I am sure everyone is dying to see our sweet little faces as you have had no updated pictures for over 2 weeks! We've all changed so much let me tell you :-) My sister has lots of new pics of us on her blog if you miss us too much.

I finally downloaded all 250 pics from this month (from one camera) last night. I have to get through them all and figure out how to get my laptop on the Internet at my parents. I do have lots of cute pics to share when I can.

We've made it 2 weeks at the parents house. Its all going great so far, we have plenty of room and are keeping very busy. Elliott starts preschool tomorrow and she's been going to gymnastics. Berkley is talking up a storm, she has started putting 3 words together. Elliott's favorite so far is "yeah, I pooped" she tries to get her to say it all the time. We're enjoying seeing cousin Rylee lots. Elliott loves taking care of her and B loves her in theory. Yesterday I was holding Rylee and she kept saying "mine!" she also flips out if Rylee touches her. She's going to make someone a great big sister someday.....

Everything went well with the closing on our old house. Some really nice people bought it and they have a 2 little boys and a little girl that is so excited to be getting E's pink room.

We think we might have a house. We got the signed contract from the bank on Friday, we've hit some random roadblocks this week but I think we'll be having our inspection on Friday. If all goes well we should have our very own house in a week or two! I keep telling myself all this waiting and aggravation will be worth it when we finally get the house...it will all be a distant memory in a few months right?...... right?

We've been very busy. The girls and I are living in Prosper with my parents, Chris will officially join us on Sunday. Right now he is back and forth between here and our house until we finish packing up on Sat and the movers come put us in storage. We might have a house in the next couple weeks, we are in the process of playing mind games with the banks. Mostly their mind games. Its very dramatic and I'm so grateful to my brother for being our agent. He is definitely working his pants off for us!

The girls and I have been taking care of Rylee while my mom and dad are on vacation. Once I get my laptop over here I can update about all that fun and post some pics.

Berkley is a little out of sorts and very clingy, she knows something strange is going on and doesn't want to let me out of her sight. We went to the gym for the first time tonight. We go all the time at home, this one was a little different. She walked right in on her own, gave me a kiss and everything. Then started crying. I went to check on them before I got on another machine and saw them both standing by the door, hugging. I went in, apparently Berkley was very sad the whole time. She wouldn't let any of the ladies near her and she just hugged her shissy. It was the sweetest thing I had ever seen. I felt bad that she was so sad but glad that her sister could make her feel better. Hopefully she'll be better next time. Mama's gotta workout!

When we pulled up to my parents house tonight she said "Papa!" I told her that Papa was still gone and he'd be back soon. She said "oh no! Papa?" She loves her Papa, and Grammy too of course :-)

We have been so busy the last few weeks. I think most everyone knows, but we put our house on the market in July and we just got a contract on it last Saturday! We got through the inspection this week and we're supposed to close September 23rd. We've spent all weekend packing up everything we can right now. We're hoping we close because there is pretty much no turning back now. We're outta here!

My parents are so lucky....they get to have the entire Pomeroy circus invade their peaceful home for an undetermined amount of time. We have offers in on houses but we're waiting on the banks in a painfully slow process. We're hoping our patience pays off and we get one of the awesome houses we're waiting for!
