Catching up with the cutest boy ever
So our month shirts are running almost a full month behind, but they are technically still accurate.
I love this little man to pieces. Right now at 7 1/2 months he is so happy and easygoing. As long as you keep him fed. I think he has already consumed more baby food jars than the girls put together. I think we're running close to $5 a day on keeping this beast fed. Those rolls don't come without hard work!
With all that size it is tough to move. He loves to sit on the floor and play. His favorite toy is the rings that stack. He also enjoys sissy's little polly pocket size princesses. He is the giant when Berkley and I play with those. He still isn't really rolling from back to tummy- he's almost there- and maybe he's done it once or twice but I'm not too sure. He mostly just screams if he can't get to something he wants. He doesn't want to spend any calories or energy trying to get to stuff.
He loves to talk and he is so easy to get giggling. He gets super excited about bubbles and balloons.
He has a pretty strict schedule and he'll let you know if its time for him to sleep. He is so easy to put to bed- I just give him a kiss set him in there with blue dog and paci and walk out. He'll talk to himself and play for a few minutes and then pass out. Positively wonderful!
I missed posting 6 months. I think I kept this one because it was a pretty accurate pic of how he acted when put down to play. Such a stinker! He is still always happiest being carried around or sitting with one of us. Such a little snuggle bug!
There's the big smile!
Nanny and PawPaw's House
Last weekend we went to visit Chris's parents and watch our nephew play football. I'd like to take this oppertunity to point out what an awesome aunt I am, because I don't like sports or being outside in the heat. Keep that in mind when aunt of the year awards are being handed out ;) Dakota did find a way to make me actually watch the game (at least when he was playing) by asking me to take pics. So I brought my super long lens and my off camera flash and sat in the stand playing papparazzi. It was quite fun, athough I probably looked ridiculous. I don't know how sports photographers do it, although maybe they aren't just trying to follow one guy around while not caring what anybody else is doing. I sat there looking out of my lens that is basically binoculars swerving around trying to find him. It was fun! Good practice for someday when I get to spend every friday night doing it- with Patton's build its hard to deny that I will be spending lots of Friday nights in the football stands!
Patton with Nanny and PawPaw
Elliott has been dying to learn how to knit, so nanny taught her. She's made a huge long string that reaches from upstairs to downstairs!
B wanted to learn too
E and Madison working on their projects
B showing off the ring she and nannny made
Patton getting his cheeks squished by cousin Madison
B and Patton playing outside at Aunt Brandy and Uncle Greg's house
THIS is the bulldog face. He juts out his jaw and just looks at you. I think he's spending too much time with Baxter.
The girls always love to go outside and feed the birds with PawPaw
I love this picture of them!

First Day of Preschool!
Tuesday it was Miss Berkley's turn for 1st day of school. She was SO excited to go back to her class and see Miss Ellen and that girl with the sparkly shoes, and the mean one that took her apple. Maybe she wasn't so excited about that last one. A little girl in class took an apple out of her hand when she was playing at meet the teacher, she kept asking all week why she did that. It was pretty funny.
Here they are having a very healthy breakfast of Lucky Charms. I didn't put P in his highchair for this pic, but you can see his little bobble head behind Berk ;)
So we went for a special day of shopping for her first day just like I did with Elliott. She picked out this dress for her first day of school. I liked the leggings too, she said no. She got pretty ticked off when we got home and she found out I had bought them. I had to bribe her to wear them, but doesn't she look so cute?! She has chosen for her hair to be in a ponytail every time she's gone to school now. It must be something about school and pony tails in her little mind, because she never asks for them any other time. I'll have to ask her what the connection is.
Show me sassy~
Show me your backpack~
Mom came over to watch Patton for me, it was his nap time and my friends and I were going to breakfast and shopping to celebrate our first day. It was so much fun! She took a picture of us before we left.
B walking into the school.
She got to class, her teacher welcomed her and told her about all the different things she could get started doing. Coloring, playing in the kitchen, dress up, puzzles. Wanna guess what B picked? She she very politely said "Miss Ellen? Where are the dress up clothes?" Went right over and found something pretty :)
The other night Chris was doing some P90X, our neighbor Owen was over playing with the girls, he and Elliott decided to join in, using soup cans for weights.
E the other day before school, looking so cute!
Berkley told her- smile, sissy- like this!
