Vacation 2015

We decided on a last minute trip to Miramar Beach, FL which is close to Destin.  The weather was awesome the entire week and we had a wonderful time with just our girls.  Our foster baby, E, went to respite care for the week and had a wonderful time with those families.  I couldn't imagine taking a baby to the beach with all the sand that ends up everywhere and I think our girls needed time with just us and there daddy away from work.  It was so good to get away!

Headed to Florida and playing around with my hat.

The first morning on the beach.  The water has never been clearer.  It was like looking through glass.  Amazing!!!!

Eden trying to ride the barely there waves the first day.  They were much bigger by the end of the week.

Harper absolutely loved the beach this year.  She loved playing in the sand and bobbing up and down in the waves in her puddle jumper.  She didn't even want us holding onto her.

Harper heading to swim.

Eden the Mermaid.

Picture night.  We attempted family pictures using a tripod and a wireless remote so we will have to see what I got.  I haven't uploaded the pictures yet.

Heading out for day two.

The water was AMAZING!!!!

Family picture out in the water.

Eden making a pool for her a friend to play in.  Everyday Eden would meet a girl her age and they would play and play together.  One girl she met up with on multiple days. She had a blast.

One of the sand castles created by Michael.

Swimming in the evening before crab chasing.

A creature they found.  Not quite sure what it is.

A crab.  I think they found 6 that night.

Posing by the sea turtle we created.

Riding the Carousal

Harper decided to start swimming on her own while we were there.  She was jumping in and swimming to Michael over and over again.  She is getting pretty good.

Starting to get a few more waves:)

Dinner date at Margaritaville which had the best fish tacos I have ever had.  SO GOOD!!!

The girls were asked to pose with these girls to advertise the 3D fireworks that were that night.  They were even posted on the Facebook page for the Harbourwalk.

Last day!

The waves were huge our last day and made it great for boogy boarding.

Harper the Mermaid. She resisted being buried until the very last day and finally let me make her a mermaid.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning 2014

My parents and Lindsay came down on Christmas Eve to hang out with us and to spend the night and be here for Christmas morning.  We had a great time decorating cookies and playing games all together.  Harley even got to come for the Christmas festivities.

Eden and Harley playing around on the floor.

Decorating our sugar cookies.  We may be a little serious about it;)

I love decorating cookies and seeing how everyone else decorates them also.

My parents found some snow that you can make and the girls loved playing with it.  All you had to do was add water and it gets really big and fluffy and cold.  Kind of crazy.

The girls playing in the snow with their figurines.

Snuggling on the couch with J. Pops and Mimi.

 Christmas Eve Pictures.

They are so cute and I LOVE their Christmas pajamas!!!

They each got to open one gift on Christmas Eve.

 We attempted a family picture.

Christmas morning.  Eden got a stuffed Olaf that was on her Santa list.

Mom was surprised with an iPad Mini from all of us.

Harper loving the necklace that she got from Morgan, Jamie, J. David, Myles, Camden, and Charlotte.

 Dad opening a gift.

Eden showing off her new necklace from the Trotter family.

Eden got golf clubs from Santa.  She was thrilled!

Giving the golf clubs a try!

 Looking good!
