Wow, Where is January Going???

January has started out kind of slow yet busy at the same time if that's possible. Eden started Mother's Day Out again and enjoys going there. My Community Bible Study started back up and we love going there. Between all that, I have decided to try consigning for the first time so I have gone through ALL of Eden's clothes and have weeded out what I can get rid of. I went through both summer and winter stuff so I would even have the winter stuff ready for later in the year. I have tagged all the summer stuff and started entering my items on the computer. It is definitely a little time consuming being a first timer but I hope to make some MONEY!!!!

On top of that preschool registrations have started to come up around here so I have been taking tours and trying to get a hold of people all the time is seems. Trying to find the best spot for Eden. It is definitely stressing me out a little;) I know she could care less but there are several good ones to choose from and I am having a hard time deciding which one to go with. Please pray that the right decision will be made for all of us. I have also toyed with the thought of going back to work two to three days a week if I can find something like that in a nursing position. So that has stressed me a little but that definitely wouldn't happen until the fall, unless something looked to good to pass up.

Here are a few pictures of what Eden has been up to.....

Dressing up is an everyday occurrence around here. She was Cinderella for the night in this picture.

Cinderella dancing. Michael even danced with her. It was so sweet.

Eden drawing. Something she loves to do.

Here's the picture. Her favorite things to draw are people and Harley;) Can you tell there are actually three people in this picture. One has the huge head that sort of resembles a rock with eyes and a mouth and then there are two people to the left of the big one. She can do some really good stick people with hair, eyes, mouth, nose, ears, arms, and legs. Just this week she has been practicing writing her letters and numbers with a book I found that has the dry erase marker so she can keep practicing over and over again. She loves to sit and do this. Kind of amazes me.

Eden took off her shirt and left it like this. She wanted Michael to take her picture and then she kept saying, "Ahoy Matey" pretending to be a pirate since she couldn't see out of one eye and because all the boys she plays with love pirates right now. It was so cute and funny.

Pirate Eden, trying to make a hook with her fingers:)
Stay tuned for February. That month is CRAZY BUSY for all of us. I have several sugar cookie and cupcake orders on top of Eden's birthday cake to make. Then co-hosting Bunko, helping with father/daughter banquet, standing in line for preschool registrations, hanging out with family that's going to be in town (CAN'T WAIT), and Eden's party to top it all off. Going to be a fun and busy month:)

SNOW Day 2

Monday we had a snow day. Michael had to work because it was the last day of his close and he had to send it off so that was not fun for him. Lindsay got to work from home so during her early lunch break we went out to play. Our snow wouldn't stick very well to make a snow man so we had to build a big pile of snow and then carve the snow man out. It is a little ghetto looking but Eden loved it so that's all that matters. Harley LOVES the snow too. He was running and bouncing all up and down the street and his legs were completely covered in big chunks of ice by the time we went it. It took a little while for him to defrost in the laundry room.
Eden ate the snow just about the whole time we were out there. I have tons of pictures of her just like this.

Making a snow angel.

Harley playing in the snow.

Eden posing with the snowman. She has talked about building another Frosty for days because of the Branson trip.

Lindsay with the snowman.

In between playing outside in the snow, Eden painted and painted and painted. I put her new easel together yesterday morning and she LOVES IT!!!! She can't stop painting hardly for anything. I'm taking requests for who wants them because there are so many.

She loves the chalkboard on the other side as well. I think she really likes to erase what she has drawn and start over.
Then it was back to the snow after nap.

She enjoyed sitting down and patting and smoothing out the snow.

Lindsay and I made a "castle" for Eden the princess. This took a long time and started getting a little dark by the time we finished. Eden loved it because it was just for her because she was the princess;)

Mommy and Eden checking out the castle together. She didn't really want to be taking pictures at this point. And it wasn't really this dark but I guess with Lindsay's flash it makes it look darker than it was.

Then we had to finish the night off with snow cream. It was very good. Yum!

Snow White Fun

What should a girl do after playing in the snow? Play Snow White, of course. It all started when Eden and Lindsay started playing beauty shop. Lindsay curled and did Eden's hair all pretty and even put make-up on each other. How fun!! Then Eden had to put on her Snow White costume and heals and pretend to be Snow White. She was so funny and cute.

Eden showing Mommy her costume and hair. Beautiful!

Had to have her Snow White doll with her. She couldn't believe she was wearing the same dress that Snow White had on. It was really funny.

Love this one. Lindsay let Eden put on her own lipstick last night. Well this morning after dressing up again like Snow White, Eden found the lipstick that Lindsay had left out and helped herself to more...

Lovely. I'm sure this won't be the first time she does this with Mommy's make-up:)

YEA, SNOW!!!

I have been praying that the forecaster's would be right this time and that we would actually get some snow. I LOVE SNOW!!! I think it is so pretty and love to play in it. Eden was so excited with the mention of it possibly going to snow. She went down for a nap yesterday afternoon and right after she went to sleep it started snowing. She was so THRILLED when she woke up to find snow on the ground. Lindsay and Harley had even shown up to play in it and to spend the night. When she finally woke up it was starting to get dark so we had to hurry and play in it fast. She loved it, except the first time she got in her mouth. She freaked like it was poison or something. Then we talked her into trying it and then catching it in her mouth while it was falling. She had so much fun in it. Her fingers did get a little cold but nothing a warm fire didn't take care of.
Family shot that isn't so great. Ugh.

Love all the SNOW:)

Finally trying to catch it on her tongue.

All of us trying to eat it.

Lindsay about to start her snow angel.

Eden trying to avoid looking at the camera.

She wanted to ride her cars and bikes on the snow. They didn't get very far;)
Stay tuned for snowman pictures and more....

Christmas #4 and Other Exciting News

On Monday, Morgan, Jamie, Lindsay, Michael, and I had a sibling date. We went to lunch at Brick Oven Pizza and then went bowling. We had the best time and I did beat everyone bowling the first round. I couldn't believe it. My cousin, Joni, and her family happened to show up right after we did so they bowled beside us and we got to visit with them which was great. Thanks to Mom and Dad for watching them for us. That morning it was cold and the kids were restless so Dad and Mom decided they would set up the bounce house that mom got at a garage sale inside the living room. The kids could not have been happier. They LOVED IT!!!! They bounced for an hour and got hot and sweaty, it was great.

Well Tuesday came and Michael and Lindsay ended up getting the stomach bug which was awful and the rest of us were praying really hard that we wouldn't get it again because we had all already had it. Morgan and the family left Searcy on Tuesday evening. We missed them so much after they left. Eden didn't know quite what to do with herself not having J. David to follow around all day:)

On Wednesday, we went over to Marilyn's to hang out with Michael's side some more. Tiffany had driven in from Alabama so it was great to see her and catch up. We played Apples to Apples that afternoon and then we had a great dinner and then another small round of Christmas with Michael's immediate family. Well in between the game and dinner Craig took Tiffany to see the lights over at Harding and then they came back with a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!

THEY'RE ENGAGED!!!!!!

YEA!!!! We could not be more excited for them. We love Craig and we love Tiffany!! She is an answer to many prayers. We could not be happier. Welcome to the family, Tiffany!

They have been beaming ever since. They are so cute;)

Tiffany showing Eden the ring. It is GORGEOUS!!! Good job, Craig!

The happy couple with Marilyn.
After their wonderful news, we had another awesome meal and then presents began again.

Eden modeling her new hat Uncle Matt, Aunt Beth, and Brisco gave Eden. She looks so cute in it.

YEA!! A new Dora movie. Thanks Tiffany!

Michael showing off his new Razorback shirt from his mom. He loves it and has been needing a new one.

What's up???? Eden being completely silly.

Eden with Uncle Craig and soon to be Aunt Tiffany. She is going to be a flower girl in their wedding and she is so excited. We can't wait.
Friday we ended packing up and heading back home just in time to get groceries and ring in the new year at home. Not very exciting I know. Michael had to work some on New Year's Day with it being the first and all so it was a relaxing and slow New Year's. We are now trying to get Eden back on schedule and boy has that been a doozy;)
