Most of you know that my sister, Lindsay, started nursing school at ASU in Jonesboro, AR and could not take her dog with her. She could not find a single, nice place to live that allowed dogs over 20 lbs so we have acquired Harley for one year. He is a great dog or we would never have said yes. Eden loves him and calls him her "buddy" all the time. I think Harley is having to get used to having a three year old all over him right now. He will be thrilled when she goes to preschool=) Poor thing. He is a golden doodle and so smart and well behaved. Eden is having to learn some boundaries with him. So far she has: drug him (lying down) across the tiles in the kitchen by only his collar, sprayed water all over him in the bathroom while she was bathing, laid all over him, and many more things and he doesn't care at all. He has been a great outside playmate for her in all this heat. She will run and run in the backyard with him and they will both come in hot and thirsty. Right now she also loves to feed him and get his food all by herself. This will be a great chore for her to continue. Of course, we will have to see in a year how well she will let go of Harley. Hopefully that won't be so bad.

Eden giving Harley a big hug. Can you see the love in her eyes?
Playing outside together. Harley has a stick in his mouth that Eden threw for him and he loves to keep it and play keep away with her. Kind of funny.
Running fast across the backyard. They do this for the longest time. Eden will come in so red faced, like her momma, when she's hot.
Playing with her bubble machine. She loves this little purchase and I enjoy not having to blow bubbles forever=)
Smiling quickly before getting back to chasing and catching bubbles.
As I mentioned before, Lindsay moved and we miss her already. It was so good having her close and being around to hang out with and even to watch Eden last minute when we needed her. Eden is missing having her Aunt around to play with and taking her to do things together. Lindsay and I also did a lot together and I will miss that too. We know Lindsay is going to have a great time in Jonesboro and will be learning a ton but we miss her A LOT!
