Harper started a Mother's Day Out program where Eden used to go to preschool. She goes Tues/Thurs from 9:30 to 2:30. She LOVES it. She was so excited to get to hold her sign and take a first day of school picture! She grabbed her lunch box and ran to her classroom. It was the absolute cutest thing. I think she remembers taking Eden there last year and was ready to be able to stay and play herself;) She has had a great time and has two little friends in her class that we know. Jake, is Ava's sister who was one of Eden's good friends in preschool and Olive is Eden's dance teachers little girl. Harper talks about them and gets excited to see her friends. Jake even gave Harper a big hug and kiss on the cheek when she left the other day. It was so sweet.
I have gotten so much done not having Harper two days a week. I have spent several days completely away from the house with appts and errands I have needed to get done=)

Searcy Weekend
The last weekend in August, Craig and Tiffany came to town. We hadn't seen them in eight months and now that they are moved to Birmingham we are hoping to see them a lot more. It was a quick weekend but we had a great time hanging out and enjoying catching up. The girls love Uncle Craig and Aunt Tiffany! Honestly, they are treated like movie stars when they come with everyone vying for their love and attention=)
Jeff, Craig, Michael, and I went to the shooting range to practice target shooting. Jeff let us shoot his .45 and taught Michael and I how to load and shoot it. I LOVED it! I had never shot a handgun before and I was very nervous about it but I really enjoyed it. I'm not too bad a shot either;)
Eden finding all kinds of dress up things in The "G" House.
Harper and Lydia playing in the window sills.
Tried to get a group picture. This was the best I got!
Harper kept a very close eye on Uncle Craig that weekend. She wouldn't warm up. She has a thing with guys and it takes her a really long time to warm up to them. She does the same thing to my brother and other good friends from church. It is pretty funny.
Harper and Jack Henry weren't quite digging the picture thing.
Eden being silly.
Aunt Sarah had brought a puzzle for the girls to put together. It didn't take them long! They have the best time together.
Sunday for lunch we went over to JoJo's house for lunch with her, Allen, and Nancy. It was good and we enjoyed our visit there. The girls loved running around JoJo's backyard and playing in a wagon. We had a wonderful visit and really enjoyed getting to spend time with everyone and hope it's not so long until next time. We REALLY missed Matt, Beth, Brisco, and Elle and praying we get to see them soon!!!

Eden's 1st Day of Kindergarten
Eden started kindergarten on August 19th, 2013. She was excited and ready to go. She woke up well and got dressed and even ate breakfast which she usually doesn't want. We even had time to spare for pictures and drop off.
The first day of school pictures.
She's got to work those hips;)
Love the sister picture. Harper is going to have a rude awakening without Eden around!
This is so sweet, hand in hand with daddy=)
Taking her seat by Chase, the one classmate we met at open house and they happen to sit by each other. He was so sweet and welcoming her there that morning!
Eden with her teacher, Mrs. Osborn!
Harper and I went to a Boohoo breakfast but there wasn't much boohooing going on. I know I will miss her so much but she is so ready for kindergarten and she was so excited about going it was hard to be sad about it. She is going to love it and I can't wait to see how much she learns and grows over the year!
She came home with this that first day! The SWEETEST thing ever!!!! LOVE!!!
She survived her first week!!!

Swing Set
We finally got a swing set for the girls!!!! Eden has wanted one forever and we finally purchased it and got it put together. A HUGE "THANK YOU" to my dad and Michael's dad for helping him put it together. They got it all put together in one day and that was in large part due to me separating all the pieces and organizing them by step so they could grab the wood and the hardware that was needed for each step. It saved a ton of time for them by pre-organizing all the parts several days before hand. The weather ended up being fantastic for mid-August and they didn't suffer a heat stroke or anything;) The girls could not love it any more. They are both out there daily playing on it. Eden especially will go out there and swing for hours! She definitely LOVES it!
The men hard a work and Eden dancing on the platform.
Getting close to the finish!
A little pic-stitch action.
Harper climbing the ladder all by herself.

Kindergarten Open House
Kindergarten Open House was on a Thursday night, August 15th. Eden was so excited to FINALLY meet her teacher and see her classroom. I'm not sure who was more excited, me or her honestly? I was really looking forward to seeing her school and where she would be going and how her teacher was going to be. All the kindergarten families went early for a meeting and then we were dismissed to go to the classrooms. Eden's classroom is so cute and her teach, Mrs. Osborn, is fantastic, which was a huge answer to prayer!!!!
Our family hanging out before the meeting started.
Me and my little Kindergartener!
She looks ready!!
She found her desk and went straight for the goodies Mrs. Osborn had for each of her students.
Going around her class and checking out all the centers for her to enjoy.
She LOVED that there was a bunk bed in her classroom. The listening center is on the top and the reading center underneath. She thought it was the coolest!!!
I think she is ready for Monday!

August IPhone Pictures
These girls definitely have the attitude thing down!
Harper found her winter owl hat and had to wear it. She was playing hide n seek in her room between her dresser and the bed. It was so cute!!!
Harper is OBSESSED with shoes and flip flops. She loves putting on and walking around in my shoes and flip flops! Aren't her feet the cutest?
This is Eden's finished art project. Color block=)
Eden showing off her new haircut! We went in just for a trim and she decided to chop it off. For some reason she loves having short hair until she realizes it has to be blow-dried and styled EVERY DAY!!
Lindsay came into town the first weekend of August and brought her hammock to hang up outside. Eden loved it. I think she was in it all weekend.
Lindsay and I took Eden to get her very first salon pedicure. She LOVED it. She thought she was so big. We all enjoyed it!
That afternoon we went to eat lunch at Chuy's and then went to the Promenade to shop. The girls enjoyed playing at the Apple store;)
I ended up taking the girls on the train ride around the stores while Michael and Lindsay were still looking in the Apple store.
My mom ended up coming down to babysit while I had some appts over the summer and we went to dinner that night.
If one does, then the other one does these days=) Harper mimics EVERYTHING Eden does!!!!
Is Harper not the cutest with her pigtails??
I can't get enough of her smile and those blue eyes!
One night we didn't have power because someone wrecked into a pole somewhere so we were getting hot and left the house to get snowcones!!! Thankfully it only lasted a few hours.
We went up to Searcy on a Saturday for a Clay cousin reunion and the girls got to open gifts from Uncle Matt, Aunt Beth, Brisco, and Elle. Eden was so excited. She got her first charm bracelet and they gave her an ice cream cone charm. The bracelet is beautiful! Harper got a fun, twirly gown that I have a picture of somewhere and she LOVES it. She loves twirling side by side with Eden in their gowns.
Harper was also given a pretend hair styling kit and the girls put it to use one night and had a beauty salon going in the play room. They are so much fun!
Eden was THRILLED to get mail from her kindergarden teacher welcoming her to her class.
One Friday night, we went to an Arkansas Travelers baseball game. We were given free tickets and had a great time with friends hanging out.
Eden and Hannah Keim.
The girls!
