RAISING THE RASMUSSENS

I picked these 4 polishes, I just loved how bright they were, perfect colors for summer time! And SO affordable! I don't just buy/use expensive polishes..I know it looks that way because I swatch O.p.i's a lot and Essie and they are more expensive polishes..but I think the ones that are worth more money are the colors that aren't your regular colors like a red or pink, but a unique red or pink.. Make sense? Ok! Moving onward!

Color #1 is this fab-tabulous electric orange color 112 Times Square/Tangerine Creme. I absolutely love this bright color..and you don't see a lot of girls wearing orange. This is the color I'm rockin' on my toes (in the picture down below) they just make your black sandal or flip flop "Pop!".
Color #2 is this pretty blue, sparkly, with some green flex, so pretty 140 called Empire State Blue.
Color #3 is this super cute neon pink color that I painted Khla-naynay's toes with in the picture down below in 111 called Fuchsia Shock Creme.
And last Color #4 this sweet bright shiny yellow shade 114 in Taxi Yellow Creme.
I love the quality of these polishes, and I love the price! B.T.W. aren't the names cute "all new yorkie-ish"..ha ha!

This YouTuber did her nails really cute and used colors similar to these.. Maybe, I'll do my nails next week and try it out & show ya how they turned out! :D

We went to Dinner at one of Rob & I's Fav little sushi spots, Kyoto.

This ended up being a total photo op! Cause after we got seated they told us they don't serve dinner on the sushi side on the weekends (which I've been here many times..and didn't know that..probably cause we only get sushi..whoops!) no big deal, we just moved over to the grill and could still get sushi, So win. win. And I'm loving this picture anyways, and it shows the fun tables that give you the illusion that your sitting on the floor. When we come for sushi we always sit at them, makes the experience fun and most places don't have them. Hibatchi Man doin his thang'
We had so much fun at dinner! Got to just laugh,laugh,laugh, talk story,story,story, even with people we didn't know that sat with us. These 2 girls on one side and this couple on the other side.The couple thanked us for letting them sit with us..they were laughing at us and our funny randoms and same with the 2 girls. I think we are our own entertainment sometimes..and others apparently. [hello. im trisity & this is whitley..were obnoxious!] :D

Than we went to go see the movie The Hangover 2. I thought it was [friggin] hilarious! Just laughed the entire movie. Ahh good times.

ay! I got my E.L.F. package! (actually a week 1/2 or so ago lol..so I'm just a little late doing this post) Shipping was 6 days..so not bad! I ordered stuff online & bought some stuff in-store. So there are 2 Parts.

Like, I've said before in previous E.L.F. Haul blogs.. E.L.F. is one of my fav makeup brands because there super cheap, and great quality products (at least most of them anyway..) So If your looking for good makeup for cheap..you should check them out!

Either online at eyeslipsface.com or in specific stores. I know they started carrying there line at Target (where I go) & I saw some at K-mart..but I don't recommend getting it from there because they had a display advertising make up buy 5 products for $5 dollars..so I don't know if you necessarily needed to buy $5 to get the "deal.." when that same make up individually is sold at Target for just $1 a piece like the website.

rightening eyeshadow in "Drama". It's a perfect little smokey eye palette.
I haven't opened it yet to try it, so I hope it's good. You can get it for a $1. (They have lots of other color quads)

hh! I've been wanting to find a good contour brush, and this one is fab! I picked this one up for only $3 dollars! And I've used it, loved it & it get's the job done! SON! ;)
Btw. (Elf has studio line brushes for $3 dollars and there black. There regular brushes are white and sell for $1 dollar) The quality of these brushes are amazing for the price. I have a white/regular eyeshadow brush and I like it so much..I have back ups of it. ha ha.

owder brush! I've also wanted to try this brush out as well, I've heard a lot of beauty guru's saying that this is a great liquid foundation brush, and I agree! This is now my main guy that I use to put on my foundation! I'll need to pick up back up's of both of these brushes.

k. These are just some single eyeshadows. Y'all know I love my golds and browns "neutral" colors and this ovely highlight color in Ivory. These are $1 each, seemed to have pretty good pigmentation..when I swatched them..but I haven't used them yet..these are cool because you can put them in the palette below!

ustom eyeshadow quad. So you can pick any of the single eyeshadow colors and create a little 4 quad palette to throw in your make up bag. They had lots of single shadows to choose from. This empty quad palette is also $1.

lussssh! In Pink Passion. Someone recommended this to me and I like it a lot. Looks scary bright pink put if you look at the swatch below and imagine if over nice tan foundation and buff it out..it's really pretty. This is $3 dollars.

olden Bronzer! I love this stuff just a quick swipe over my face after I'm done putting on my make up..gives you a nice "golden bronze, shimmery look". $3 dollars for fab bronzer. Yes! I'm going to be able to use this little guy a lot and don't see it running out anytime soon even if I was to use it everyday! :D

irst off, I wanted to get this blush because I heard great things about it..that it's fabulous..and hello it's only $3 dollars. This is "TWINKLE PINK" & I like it alot (so yes..I heard correct..it's fab!) I've worn it on my cheeks almost every day since I got it. Oh yeah..and if you can't already tell by the pic it's peachy/pink shimmery blush colourrr.

here I go again..picking up more lashes..cause I'm obsessssed. I know I like my lashes as is. But false lashes serve there purpose and give your lashes that extra umph! So I love them, these are the "Natural lashes" and there just a $1. I already had a few pairs, so I just picked up 2. (that way I didn't feel too guilty..ha ha)

yebrow & Tame I got it in a light brown color before and hated it because it was more of reddish brown..(I had to come back & check myself, I was organizing my make up and realized that the brow & tame "reddish brown" im referring too was not an elf brand, it was F21..so yeah I don't recommend buying that one. But this one from elf is fantastico!

ipstick! This is my first time trying there lipsticks, they have an creamy w/lil oily base texture..not bad for $1 lipstick. (I've used both of them and I like them a lot) I find that the nude colored one called "Nostalgic" is so similar to my M.A.C Lady Gaga Viva Glam 2 lipstick, except for this one is $14 dollars cheaper! So I plan on going to Target and picking up lots of back ups. The other one is a red/pink/rosy "something like that" ha ha..color and it's called "Classy".

on't cha just love my tacky font on pic. Anyways, this is there "Summer Ready" lip gloss set for $5 dollars, I haven't tried them yet. But I love how the colors look & Ya can't go wrong for 5 lipglosses for 5 bucks. C'mon..get outtaaa here'

2. piece "every day basics" eyeshadow palette for $5. I haven't used this yet. I did however swatch a few of the colors on my hand..and one of them were terrible..it wasn't pigmented at all, and looked like I never swatched a color at all, very transclucent and a total FAIL. But the others looked promising..so we shall see maybe they'll be bet-tah!

...wow that was forever!

My KONAD nail stamping kit. You can get one like this on Ebay for like $12-13 dollars. They sell different design plates as well. This is a cheap/fun alternative than going to the salon and paying for a manicure. Cause Y'all know I never pay to get my nails done..cause yes, I do them myself! :D I love doing my nails..especially where not a lot of work is involved. Cause let's face it..being a mom or if your not a mom and just livin life..sometimes we don't have a lot of time to spend on ourselves and this took me like 15 min! SO, If you wanna know how to use this nail kit I betcha if you search on YTube someone out there has made a video! :D
So I wanted to use the Zebra design on the plate, So I chose to paint my nails a hot pink color from O.p.i. and I don't remember the name..and for the Zebra print I just used a white polish from China glaze (white on white).
& I think they turned out FAB!!
And I must say thank you to my 2 little girls for taking naps and allowing me to spend 15 minutes on myself and do my nails :) if you don't have kids..it's okay one day you will understand why im so friggin happy about getting 15 minutes to myself! yeah they slept longer than 15 minutes..but ello' I gots other things to do while there sleeping (like blog about my nails) hahaha jk. i dont' have time to edit this blog and read over it so if i messed up. sorry in advance. ok gotta go have a good day!

We're so happy for Marie! This is her first baby, and she's having a BOY! I couldn't be more excited for her. We started laughing because a few years ago when I was pregnant with Dev..she said she didn't want any kids and blah blah and now she's expecting and couldn't be happier, she's going to be a GREAT MOM! Welcome to the club! :D

Later on that day..Rob & I took the girls to the park.
And yes..I dressed them the same that day..I just couldn't help myself. I just thought they looked so cute.

Rob told me..wow, Devie is really personable..and told me that when he was following Dev around the playground she just said "Hi!" to an older lady and the lady said hi back, than Dev said "Do you like my dress?" And the lady said yes, it's very pretty.
(So see Devlyn..even you thought your dress was cute! ;)

Ha ha..sorry girls, I know..one day you'll look back at this pictures and say "Really Mom? Did you have to dress us the same" And the answer is: Yes, I did!! Cause you guys look adorable! ha ha!

Last week Devlyn told her Daddy that her barbie was broken..and sure enough she was..her legs kept popping off cause the leg hinge or whatever was broken and wouldn't stay on. So her dad said he'd buy her a new one, so daddy kept his promise and here we are shopping for a new one.

She saw this giant baby and ran and picked her up, it was 3 times the size of her baby sister. I'm like Dev..your going to get tired from carrying that around all day, let's put her back and go find your barbie..
Cause we do not need another baby doll in the house..we have a TON so that is one thing I will NOT buy more of. She has way too many, tiny, small, big, and one life size baby, so back to the shelf you go..big monster baby!

After much thought and decision making..she chose Snow White Princess Barbie. And she was so happy to get her, she's totes her around everywhere she goes.

ob got off work and wanted to take us on a short drive by the lake. Dev was happy she got to see some ducks, two otters & a pelican. I got some beautiful pictures that I took with just my cell phone. Sometimes, I forget what a beautiful place we live in..and take our mountains for granite..because there gorgeous.


I can't wait for some steady warm weather so we can go fishing!
