tis the season to be jolly FA LA LA LA ~
MERRY XMAS everyone! had a simple xmas dinner on 23dec with serpens over at ting's place. settled at her place cos the ultimate motive was to play wii :D we had a pizza and chicken feast plus 2 log cakes. didnt know nic and vance went to get a log cake so me, cha and ting went down to cold storage to get one from swissbake. gift exchange! i guess JJ (stan's kid) is the happiest among all cos he got all the chocolates. haha. xmas eve - went to bugis with mom to get a new straightener cos the wire snapped for the old one. its really a bad day to be out cos its damn crowded and i was kinda grouchy that i kept nagging. then in the evening, had xmas dinner over at jo uncle's place. afterwhich we went back to jo's place for gift exchange. his sis got him and his bro a boardgame each (game of life and UNO) and so it started us playing. and it took quite sometime for me and litang to actually figure out the the instructions for the game of life. sheesh i had fun (:
yes, the FLYER
so luckily, my family went to take the flyer last sunday. if not there might be a slight possibility that we would be TRAPPED. ha. a 30min ride seemed long at first, but it was a rather short ride. probably cos we were busy taking pictures and walking ard the capsule looking at the different views. the scenery would be better when the Integrated Resort (IR) and all other construction is done. so after our ride and while we were down on the escalator, we saw zhihong's family on the other escalator. they were supposed to take the flyer the previous week but due to the weather, both families went to take the flyer on the same day. afterwhich, we head off to westmall to get my new phone. YES SAMSUNG F480! thanks daddy ((: finally the phone on reservation has arrived. sis changed her phone too- Nokia E71. same as bro but she got it at the promotion price which my bro felt quite cheated. ha PEEK-TURES !   all those scenic shots are taken by the chua famaliy photographer, mr kenji chua! give u credits la huh bro. he claims that me and sis capture lousy photos and our angle suck so he holds the responsibility of taking the pictures!   here are the'family' photos that we failed to capture. one without dad  one with only my teeth ):  Thursday, December 11, 2008
met up with sz on tue and watched cape no.7. i wld say the movie wasnt quite up to my expectation cos i guessed i expect the movie to turn out good. met up with her cos she didnt turn up the other day and so she wanted to make it up by treating me to gelare (: thanks girl! i know its your off day and you ought to be resting at home. yi qi! went kimage to do up my hair on wed. this time round i have my fringe cut AGAIN. and im quite disappointed, so my hair stylist called me back tml to see what she can do bout it. the other time i had bangs, it was too short. this time round, it's too unnatural. wells, im quite particular about my hair so i hope she will try to make my hair less 'gross' tml. no matter what, i hope my hair will turn out good by CNY! LET IT GROW. plus, i bet when jo comes back from his hols, he will have a shock of his life once again. cos he didnt quite like my fringe the other time i cut it. just received his msg and he's currently having fun enjoying the hot spring (and ogling at those hot taiwanese girls) HA. 5 more days till he's back! and i cant wait for my 奶油太阳饼 :D and dad will be back from nagoya tml with those japanese biscuits and goodies! i bet mom missed dad for the past one week. and when he's back, it will be time to get a new tv (and chuck this to the garang guni cos this tv has been in a rather bad condition since like a year ago shutting down and turning on by itself) and also time to change my HP! 031208 - bdae celebration with DARL
:) i've got my sweet 20 birthday surprise from dearest met jo in the afternoon for madagascar movie. he didnt book the tix cos he tot we might be able to get the 345 tix at vivo. but when we reached there, that time slot was left with the seats in the first two rows, so we decided to catch the movie at 450. the necklace was meant to be a surprise cos he told me he left my BIG present at home BUT i was flipping through the paper bag he brought along while he was queuing for his BK lunch and so, i sort of spoiled the surprise. =/ then, he told me he had made a reservation at some hotel in town for buffet dinner at 7pm but actually, he has already made reservation for sky dining at 630. that was the time our movie ended so he jus dragged me, claiming that we needa rush to take the train down to orchard. ok. . then, it came the worst part of the day. SKY DINING . i didnt know that i cldnt withstand the shakiness of the cable car and i vomitted. and poor jo had to finish my share of the food. ahh felt so lousy =/ i guess it runs in the blood.(cos sis had almost the same experience too, except that she didnt vomit) so from the 2nd round of the ride onwards, i was lying on jo's shoulders. ha ok, i know im 逊! and now, i have the phobia of taking cable car. thanks darl for the surprises. and for being so sweet throughout the ride. i bet you've spent alot jus for this! and so, as you've mentioned 2nd year anni is on ME. heart ya JO <3>        p.s. the food wasnt very good though. i did manage to eat that tad little bit of pan-fried fillet
021208 - with family (:
so after wii over at ting's place, went back home and travelled all the way down to seafood international at east coast. (thanks vance and nic for the ride home!) took quite sometime to reach cos of the pouring rain and peak traffic. the place is like a marketplace + restaurant cos we can get to pick our veg and seafood and they will place it in the trolley. its like shopping at a high-end supermarket O.O we are like 'sua-kus' who are so fascinated that we keep taking pictures. so overall,the food was good but the service was slow though. and i had my 3rd birthday cake! thanks sis for the patissier cake!   with sis and bro     my parents. aint they cute? haha (:   Thursday, December 04, 2008
021208 bdae celebration with SERPENS
thanks my dearest serpens! they still managed to surprise me after all(: the last birthday celebration of the year! thanks peeps! i survived my 1.5 years of uni life with you guys ard (: after soooo long, yes its kbox :DD managed to take a shot of tj and des's 'biao-ing' the songs. HAHA      so they continued to sing when everyone was busy with the cake. and YES the hands! LOLS.    thanks JODY and NICOLE for the cake! and nic, promise you another k session this hols!  thanks for the 'ipod'! it looks so real. thanks ting and cha for the hardwork and thanks for all the sweet messages too (:     then it was wii at ting's hse. hope she can bring it over to the chalet. cant wait for our own exclusive serpens chalet in jan ! meet you peeps for dinner again. 011208 - it marks the end of my final term paper! hooray :Di guess i deserve a break after months of hardwork. still contemplating if i wanna help my aunt over at her zi char stall. i shall see how it goes. and thanks girls and ur dears for the birthday treat and the cake! <33>        |
