My Easter Basket...

Oh My Gosh...



Here it is...



My Eatable Easter Basket! My friend Holly is the best and helped me create this master piece!




We poured melted Chocolate into my Giant Cupcake Pan and let it sit for about 5 minutes in the freezer.



We baked the cake and also made "cake-pops".

Oh my gosh, I can't wait to eat one or maybe two of these!!

Spring Break 2011 in California....

When the kids got home from school on Friday we surprised them with a 5 day vacation to California. We had their bags packed and were ready to go. They were surprised and very excited!


The Beach... It was a great day to sit and read a book on the beach...
or dig in the sand.
But we would not recommend getting wet
It's so cold and takes a long time to dry off.
Off to SEAWORLD...







Scott, Max, and Sam were the only ones brave enough in our party to take the chance of getting wet. It was too cold of a day for Rachel and I to be walking around SeaWorld wet.

Yep they all got wet. Max got really wet and was really cold but they all said it was worth it.

This was so fun to sit out here all by ourselves and watch the dolphins swim around us.

And for Max he kept his money!!

The kids had an awesome time and were so appreciative. I was so grateful to not have to sit and watch the snow fall out my front window and to be able to get away as a family for our Spring Break.

Oh, I like the new sign in the garden?!

I can not believe it is already time to put up the "dog" fence and start the garden planting peas.


Thanks boys for working so hard on a Saturday. It's almost as fun as fishing and skiing, right?
This just makes the 4th of July so much more enjoyable, fresh peas!!

She goes Crazy for Crazy 8's...

Rachel got a very fun surprise in the mail. Her Aunt Sarah send her a gift card to go buy whatever she wanted at her favorite store. Her Grandma picked her up and took her out to shop... She came back with a totally Rachel outfit!!

Rachel's 6th Birthday

Max stepped up and really helped with the party as I came down with laryngitis. He helped them go on a scavenger hunt that he created and play "hot Potatoe".

The kids are now in their aprons and hats ready to cook ...

Not being able to speak Grandma and Grandpa were the biggest lifesavers.

They got to decorate their own cupcake and make their own pizza any way they wanted.

I was shocked that they all ate what they made! They are such good kids we are so lucky to have all these kids in our lives!

Febuary 2011

Sam had a Surprise B-day Party this year that turned out to be really fun. He has some really good friends and an awesome cousin that did a really good job keeping it a secret. Sam was so happy!

The boys love to go out shooting their targets with their 22 rifle's.


Now doesn't that look cold? Rachel and I enjoy staying home sitting by the fire watching whatever movie she chooses while I try to take a much needed nap!!
