Does this blog even work anymore? The year has flown by. Our oldest finished kindergarten and our youngest is about to be a year old. I can hardly believe it. Here is a quick and brief update of what we have been doing...

LC is a precious little baby girl. She crawls as fast as she can, trying to keep up with the big kids. She lifts her arms up for them to hold her. We all love and enjoy her!

I homeschooled AC for kindergarten while plans were being made to begin a classical school in the area. I didn't think that I would love it, but we had a wonderful year. She worked so hard, and we both learned so much. Can you see the tears in her eyes? She was crying because all her math worksheets were done. As we sat at the table together and worked, the two boys below destroyed my house.

They play so hard together and didn't even miss me while I was working with AC.

The kids are growing quickly. Forrest loves his glasses and had to get his front tooth pulled just recently. He hit it when he was about a year and a half, and it finally had to come out...he is so proud of his "huge gap."

Since AC was at home and we live so close to Disney, we decided to get annual passes. Taking the kids to Disney is probably one of my favorite things that I have ever done.

Now that school is over and the baby is bigger, I am going to try to keep this blog up. It's a great way for me to keep track of all the things we do :).

Life is busy. At the end of each day, I feel as though we did not do enough school, I did not read enough books to my kids, and another day has passed and my children are a day older.

Homeschooling has really changed our lives, even if it is just kindergarten. We are home more. We are together more. We don't have to rush out the door each morning. And, the younger three lives' don't revolve around the oldest. I am thankful that it is working for our family this year.

Forrest turned four at the end of last month. We threw him a huge party (we were in Hawaii last year on his birthday. . .I am still feeling guilty). This big guy loves life and could possibly be the best brother ever. I tell people that Chanin and he should really count as one child since they are always together.

LC was baptized last Sunday, and it was a wonderful day. Both sets of grandparents were here, and it was a great time.

Oh, this baby! She is so sweet! She loves to smile and laugh.
She eats great and sleeps great (and smells so sweet). She doesn't care much for the bottle, but that's really good with me.

When she starts to laugh, the older kids drop what they are doing to come and see what is so funny. Then, we just all watch this little one laugh and smile. (Notice the dimple. . .only on that side :))

Time is racing by and there is still so much to do today!

Sisters

We are so in love with Laura Catherine. . .all of us. Anna Christine was thrilled this morning when I put a "leotard" on her (it was just a onesie). LC is growing and sleeping great. She is probably our sweetest baby (or maybe just our fourth :)).

I am also homeschooling AC for kindergarten, and we are really loving it. She loves her work, and I love teaching her. The boys both do a little schoolwork, color, and play. It is really working out great. I am thankful to not be running everyone out the door to get her to school each morning. It would probably kill me. Anyway, we will take one year at a time and see how it goes.

Time is going by too fast, and my tiny baby is growing too fast. I try to hold her and take advantage of each moment with her.

Big Smiles

Things are going great at our house! We have adjusted, and everyone is loving the new baby.
